@@inaedemarughu8275 MNR has really cool Engineers. When we were accepting new subway cars into service at 207th St Yard I would toot "shave & a haircut" on my locomotive, and the MNR Engineer on the other side of the Harlem River would toot back "two bits" on his.😀 It would have been nice if MNR called me up after submitting my resume. For me, the most rewarding aspect is to safely transport passengers to their final destination and to see them greeted by a friend, a family member or a loved one.

Ohhhh... Just between you and me , wayyy back when i was around 4 years old mum used to take use to the Science and tech museum where , inside , there was around 3 huge steam locos ( ottawa) . One has stairs and a walkway to another loco for people to go up in the cab. As kids we would sit in the captains seat . There was this big aluminum thing there that we though was a steering wheel . I mean , it was right where a steering wheel should be , so we imagined we were engineers steering the loco. haha

To put into perspective how difficult, 3k people applied the same time I did. Out of that, 116 of us were invited to my Locomotive Engineer Trainee Overview. 46 of us passed the cognitive test.
