If you're a coach you hope to have a dad or two like this to help out...might be a tad overzealous but if they're telling the kids good info then let's go!
Any other dads out there like me who have to practice ultimate self control when watching their sons get coached by someone who clearly knows way less than you? My son has no filter and one day is going to tell the coach, "my daddy says you don't know what you're talking about and I should do it this way instead." Haha
From a rec ball stand point I hope all other dads that don’t offer their time to help all the kids would also practice self control. I’ve been on both sides of the proverbial and literal fence. When I’m on the outside I’m silent, and when I’m on the inside I appreciate all the help I can get, and silence from the ones that don’t want to help.
You have to balance it...if you aren't willing (or maybe not able) to put the time and work in and coach but the other guy is then it's not really fair to pipe up and tell them how to do it....within reason of course. If it's just horribly bad then maybe pull the coach aside and offer some feed back. And of course you can coach your kid up on your own too.

I had to subscribe. Also, I realize that I should relax a bit at my kids lacrosse practices.
Might be too involved but this dad is right lol at least it isn’t one of those ones who is giving all the wrong advice
