Bully Ray finally revealing he was aces and eights leader. That moment was pure electric and the crowd just erupted like for me it was his finest moment

"Bully Ray" is a TNA creation. When it comes to gimmicks, if the WWE didn't create it, they are often reluctant to accept it.
It wasn’t a tna creation either. It was Mark LoMonaco creation

How can you run an anti-bullying campaign (or that you can overcome bullies) without acknowledging bullying exists, though? You can show a bully to be the antagonistic villain without glorifying their actions, and show them to be a horrible person who only makes life worse for people, then have the faces finally beat them, to show bullies can indeed be overcome.
That's kind of amazing. The WWE is built on bullying, they have their stars belittle and bully, humiliate and pick on each other ad nauseum. Vince seems to love humiliation.

Did I imagine this, or was there a backstage segment on RAW just after HHH had been awarded the Heavyweight Title where Bubba Ray confronted him and promised that a guy like him would put HHH in his place some day? I’d be interested to know if there were any plans around that if it happened.
Love the Bully ray persona and team 3d/dudley's they were an original concept and you guys were/are amazing.

The alternate name gives away the other 50%. Teresa Earnhardt would have filed a lawsuit over "The Intimidator" as she is the trademark holder of "The Intimidator" as the widow of Dale Earnhardt who's nickname was "The Intimidator" There's over 30 years of trademarked apparel and memorabilia with the words "The Intimidator" on it related to Dale Earnhardt's NASCAR career. That wouldn't work out too well for them... She's also lawsuit happy and if you so much as mention the Earnhardt name/legacy in any negative light she usually files court papers... She sued her own stepson from Dale's first marriage for using the Earnhardt name on a prefabricated housing company. She wouldn't hesitate to sue WWE.

I think sometimes the ruin of a character by WWE (maybe not in recent history) is on purpose. I think the fact that Vince didn't take the idea morph it and ruin it shows the respect he has for old Bubba. That's just my take, I always see Vince bashing and I'm not shill but I still appreciate all the shit he has done for us the fans that be. Has he ruined a lot of shit in modern day.....sure. Think about every boss you ever had that was good but kind of a flawed asshole. Billions of dollars don't change the fact that Vince isn't much different. No excuse for the CM Punk era he still had pep in his step then!

There has always been heels acting lile bullies over the years. What Bubba wanted to do was extend the character to outside of WWE after 1 year to do charity work & it sounds like Vince didn't want to lose out on any sponsors within that 1 year Bubba pitched the idea for.
I think now that WWE has gone to TV 14 the Bully Ray character might stand a chance
Buh Buh Ray Dudley is a man after my own heart, i grew up adoring tag team wrestling and i still do, I always thought that if i where to be a wrestler my main goal would be to win the tag team straps to have my name written in the same history books as the Road Warriors, British Bulldogs and Dudley Boys to name a few.
