I personally feel like the less he talks, the more scary he is. And the more he talked, the more goofy he became.
Keep in mind, Hulk is a manifestation of Banner’s childhood trauma. Hulk absorbed and became the pain and frustration from the abuse so Banner wouldn’t suffer. But because Banner was so young, Hulk also assimilated the mannerisms of child. Hence why his grammar is so inarticulate and “goofy” sounding.

Hulk 2003 was a fine interpretation of the green guy himself but he looks relatively cartoon-y and acts like a giant baby most of the time. However, he works as the manifestation of Bruce Banner's childhood trauma. He has impressive moments too
Hulk 2008 was a slightly better interpretation as he stayed to comic Hulk's true size and he appears menacing. I like the details of his muscles and veins. I can see inspiration for this big guy. His Bruce Banner is overall charming in his own right. But there's nothing of high-highs that makes me love this green guy more than I should be.
I liked Hulk in both the Avengers Movies and in Ragnarok. He worked as a fun side character and he was my favourite character of the Avengers. Bruce Banner works with this kind of Hulk because of better resemblance. A guy who can't live a normal life because of this other guy inside off him is really interesting in these kind of movies even if its not the main focus. When he works for the Avengers, its a treat to watch. He has a lot of epic moments and sometime funny ones.
Then his professor Hulk counterpart was pretty dragged out. I know its based on the comics, but the original Hulk is a far more interesting thing to watch. Professor Hulk was fine in Endgame but in She Hulk, he kind of drags a bit. Hulk in films has become pretty dragged out.

@@MarvNARK The green oversaturation makes it looks less realistic even with how realistic he looks in the movie itself. CGI was good but his colour tone needs to shift down a little to make it more believable.

The older I get, the more I feel the movie doesn't get the love it deserves. Literally the best live action Hulk when it comes down to the gritty nature of Banner and Hulk. I feel bad for people whos childhood Hulk was MCU Hulk.

That's Lou Ferrigno. He plays Hulk in the 70's but he sounded more like the animated Hulk from the 2000's to early 2010's.

The Hulk was born out of Banner's childhood trauma and represed anger and memories, The Hulk acts like a child because he is one, and he usually matures when Banner and Hulk start having an understanding of each other.

Even the Lou Ferrigno Hulk briefly spoke a word in the 1978-series, when he rescued a man from a gas station fire (if I remember correctly), and once the dude woke up from his unconciousness, he asked the Hulk how he could be green, upon which the Hulk briefly replied by repeating "Green?".

I can see why Smart Hulk wasn’t included. He’s basically Bruce Banner with Hulk’s enormous strength.
And he's the shortest, his height only 7ft, even shorter than he was in Endgame which was 8 ft. While in both first two Avengers movies his stand at 8.5 ft, in Ragnarok & Infinity War he's 8.9 ft. tall, in Incredible Hulk he's 9 ft. As many people know, Hulk's getting bigger and stonger when he's angrier. That's why in 2003 film he's stand at 15ft. tall. Professor Hulk is the shortest simply because he's calmest.

I don’t mind him talking more in team up films, or if the tone works better for it (ex. Thor, despite sounding like auto tune, was a comedy so Hulk quipping was fine especially since his jokes were funny) but anything else keep him saying as little things as possible.
A theory I had was that the longer Hulk stayed Hulk the more his intelligence grew but at the rate of like a child.
So in the first hulk movie he has like baby intelligence only able to say a few words and going on instincts and basic ideas.
In the first two Avenger movies he’s like a toddler.
In Thor Ragnarok he’s like 5-6 and his personality and social skills are developing. The sudden jump in intelligence is because he’s stayed out for 2 years straight.
