So true! I just started teaching dance this year and my students were asking what do they do with their arms - and I realized that I forgot to break down the integral cross-lateral movement. Definitely just doing a warm up like this for them now to get them used to moving naturally in their dancing. Thank you for the great tips!!!
For a minute i actually thought you had just danced that only once and filmed yourself from the front and behind. That synchronicity was insane! Would have been difficult to fake yourself into the same shot though :D. Btw, my girlfriend watched some stage performances and thought Charleston would be horrible, you convinced her that it will be fun!
Oh Charleston is amazing! I feel like people don't always take the time to learn it well and present a shallow version on stage, but if you take it seriously as an art form, it's gorgeous.
Great video - as usual, thanks a lot :D On small idea : for video like this, I would find very useful if you could write the name of the steps that you dance and name, because for non-english speakers as me, they are sometimes difficult to understand. :D

This video is GREAT! Can't wait for part 2!
The best way to learn how to dance is to dance and dance and dance! Good ol' repetition.
It's true
Honestly it's been a real struggle to dance lately but dang it this just is THE VIBE!

Thank you! I'll work on that
Have you considered marketing your dance videos as workout videos?
I have a playlist created of her dancing follow along videos. Such an amazing workout + improving your lindy hop game. Win win.
Thanks for the suggestion! I have thought about it but have had a hard time dedicating the time to packaging them.
