We can't thank you enough!! I always watch your video in the morning before I sit down to do my two hours of university work and you give me so much motivation and clarity. Your videos help me to set the tone for the day and keep going

Congrats Dan, on the success of your book. Impatience was once my best friend. It kept me stuck In frustration. My mind has become more peaceful, and my heart feels more grateful, and I am being kind and compassionate towards myself. Seeing how far I have come on this journey, makes me feel good about myself again. Caring too much was another one, and that kept my emotions in a heightened state.
Focusing my attention in the present moment as much as possible and getting my sense of humour back feels good. Thanks for today's message.
    I needed to hear it.
Sending love, blessings and kindness to everyone.❤

Had a pretty good day yesterday. Spent a couple of hours cleaning up debris from crazy winds here in So Cal.
My heart goes out to those who have lost their homes to the fires - talk about a "scare
event". My tum has settled down and I'm eating foods I've been avoiding for a few years.
I guess I can add this to my list of things I could not do before Pain Free You knowledge. I'm up to about 35 things I could not/would not do 9 months ago....thanks Dan!! ❤
Love you all. Don't give up. ❤

Hi Dan, everything is a fear disorder whether it's pain, panic attacks or phobias. A frightened brain manifests a thousand different symptoms. PLEASE can you do more excellent videos, specifically on the emotional and physiological symptoms. Love from London UK xx

I am totally unbothered by my symptoms . I have started doing more such as housework, shopping, sitting which was my main trigger. My symptoms have increased, but I guess my brain is feeling scared at my increased activity. Still staying unbothered. As you say Dan. It will go when it goes 😊.

I am in the same boat! I started doing more and my symptoms increased as well. I believe it’s TMS trying to get the upper hand, like an extinction burst, because its mechanism isn’t working and scaring us anymore lol

Thanks so very much for making this video! What you said is so true! I find I start questioning things because I still have some pain, but am 80% there. Like if I should do more things to help it go away and be more active in recovery methods. Or I get frustrated because it's not gone yet. Thus was so very helpful!
I can't begin to thank you enough for just how far I've come this past year! Its so nice to have my life back and its because of you and the work you do!

I am posting a second question.
So if you recall I told you about 2 weeks ago that I was trying to get back to doing push-ups and I couldn't even get into a push-up position without my body feeling like it was going to break let alone do one push-up.
Well yesterday I got up to 4 push-ups but I'm running into the same issue that caused me to stop doing them 10 years ago. I feel like my strength is there but like my spine and neck are going to break and I feel very shaky like my nervous system can handle it and although I'm doing for push-ups with good form and without struggling it just feels like im going to injure myself.
I mean I never do injure myself and I always seem to be able to add a new rep but idk ...

In my case, the first symptoms would be good...😅 I have been doing TMS therapy for 3 months and it’s hard to believe when absolutely nothing changes.

The mindset needs to shift first. th-cam.com/video/uEqwH3WZneQ/w-d-xo.html
When in doubt - do the assessment. If symptoms behave like TMS, that's what it is. No symptom changes just means the brain is still perceiving danger. The fast start playlist can help. DansFastStart.com

Dan I had a question which is causing doubt that its all tms.
I noticed my father has a lot of the same symptoms although much more mild and not as debilitating as myself. But some of my worst symptoms are just the rigidity of my body and a lot of the other things that cause my spine to be immobile and I noticed the way my father moves or if he drops something the way he struggles to pick it up is exactly the same things i dela with(but more severe and at a younger age)
I feel like it's much more likely that I'm suffering from a genetic issue passed down from him or that there's some environmental issues such as the mold in the house that's causing us both to have these issues.
I can't imagine that TMS would affect us nearly exactly the same way...
    What are your thoughts?

I just listened to the first half of Alan Gordon’s book. I know you mention him in your videos Dan, but why don’t others give credit to Dr John Sarno? It’s discouraging that in his lifetime the “medical establishment “ disregarded his work and some even ridiculed him, but even in the present day you rarely hear his name mentioned.
Sorry for the comment rant, but being the man he was he isn’t rolling over in his grave, however he really was the man.
