Hi Marion, Apologies for the late response! When you carry out the procrustes superimposition the landmarks are scaled using the centroid size. So, these are automatically calculated during the process. So, when you go: File -> Export Dataset, you can then select the data types you wish to export including the procrustes coordinates and the centroid sizes. Hope that helps!
@maciej from slope of regression by log transformed value of landmarks ,you get b value that put that value in Eliot equation for each truss variable after that size effect get removed
Hi! Thank you for your tutorials- they're very useful. A basic question for you, I'm having issues accessing files in morphoj. When opening the file console, my files do not appear. I think this may be a Java problem, or maybe the application does not run well on mac. I've tried downloading the latest java update, and it still does not work. Hi Justine, Thanks! I myself don't use mac, and so haven't had this issue before. Looking at the MorphoJ change log, it seems the only recommendation is to install the latest version of Java, which you have done. I'm sorry I can't be of more help. I'll ask around!

Hi Denver, Yes, you can. It depends on what you're working on to as whether you want to find out how discriminated the groups are or what variables differ between them.

@@DeniseCramptonTutorials hello thank you so much for replying actually I'm working on bees so I have 20 landmark to put in every wing (530 in total) so I built tps file from images then I used tpsdig I added the scale factor and the landmarks and save data and changed the ID but when I try to open the file on morphoj it keeps telling me there's invalid numbers or problem in the file idk how to solve it. I guess I put the scale wrong bcuz when I opened the file I add the scale then landmarks , then pic 2 scale and landmarks .pic3......pic530 maybe I should finish the scale for all the images then put landmarks'??? I have no idea how to solve it thank you

Denise, how do you use the regression results to remove the size effect? on their basis you create a matrix and then a PCA?
Well during the GPA, the size and shape components are separated into the Procrustes coordinates and the centroid sizes.

Pls can u make a video, showing how you can combine two datasets. So you can visualize a shape using the wireframe. Like how can u merge to wireframes
Yeah, sure. Just to confirm: How to combine more than one dataset and then visualise that data in a wireframe?
if I have a file of dataset using the notepad, What should I used for create new dataset ? is it text, TPS or morphologika ?
I would recommend opening the file in notepad then saving as filename.tps with save as type -> All files then importing as File type: TPS

I'm happy to help. Could you maybe go into a bit more detail. You created the file in TPSDig? What file type do you import as?
