- Microtonality can easily be found within the harmonic series. For Hayden Chisholm the 11th harmonic is a very special tone: "the primordial bluenote".
This short instructional video shows you how you can find that note, how it sounds and how to play it on the saxophone. If you look carefully you can also see the fingering he uses to play this note on the saxophone.
