    If they would let it cool just a tad before pouring it in then they wouldn't have air bubbles forming. Also if they would wash the sides of the pot with water with a brush the candy would not crystallize and have a solid structure and not fall apart easy! It's pretty but they need to do that!

    These are used during Diwali festival 😍😍 love them!! Everyone wondering whether it can be consumed, Yes! you can. We use it during Diwali festival for decoration but consumed later when the 5-day pooja is done. Used to carry a piece in pocket to school.       They are just sweet, no real "flavor". Have had several times at Hindi weddings; I keep them in clear plastic boxes with silica packets to keep dry.

      Those are hand crafted and really hard to find but you can get it in Telangana or Andhra pradesh regions ,India

    Very skilled Confectioners! They don't need a high tech kitchen and equipment for candy making. The Carvers who makes those mold are amazing Artisans.

    In South India, especially in parts of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu these are made for a festival called sankranthi or pongal , which is the festival of harvest. These candies usually used to be given to visiting guests during the festival.
