Great video Joe you could get it welded but the spiral comes out dead easy,just take the cap off just incase there’s a bolt holding it onto the spline shaft,and just lift it out and throw a new one if you can get hold,of one we popped the gearbox on one and it’s good to see pip eating again 👍

Great to see Pip eating properly, well on the mend if she's got her appetite back (Almost as good as Big Mick's) When big lumps like that start falling off a machine I think it's time to look at trade in value. I know it's not three years old but it get's used every day so that adds up to a lot of hours. 👍.
Surprisingly that a Relatively Young Machine would fail like that. Neighbours had a much older Single Auger mixer (Different Brand) that nearly did that. They went to change the Blades on it & discovered serious amount of cracking. The original supplier sourced a complete replacement auger. It was made to order as it was an older machine. Another Neighbour had a Spare machine that they could use in the short term.

We had the same happen to ours but it came through the side of the tub , but we had to replace the auger luckily we got a demo for a few day's day's
