Aiden, the full brake was a BGP Brake Guard Pigeon. It was designed to carry racing pigeons. There are still a few around. The write ups say it could carry stored mail or luggage when not carrying the pigeons. I though that was very funny when I learned that.
@@AidansRailways Sadly, with my sense of humor I see a line of pigeons on the platform, gripping tickets in their wingtips waiting to board and go to their "compartments"
Thank you Thomas. I’m glad I put the money towards expanding the Sir Nigel Gresley set. Once I sound chip the locomotive I think it will be complete. Cheers 👍
hi Mate these are great i have full brake and restaurant one full of detail was shocked hornby never did full brake or restaurant in the cheap version before well made video glad to see you are getting your stuff through keep safe arp
Hi Adi. Cheers. These coaches came just before Christmas but I never got round to making a video. I’ve got quite a backlog of items here. As for the Hornby issues. Well some things from the 2021 range are starting to arrive and the account seems to have had its issues resolved (fingers crossed). Thank you as always 👍
Hi Sebastian 👋. If you are referring to the coaches featured in the video they sure are and have been for a little while now. Hope this helps and thank you for getting in touch 👍
Great video Aidan very nice coaches however they are far too much for what they are and especially if you want a rake the money ranks up even further I will stick to ex set budget coaches because that way I get more for less money
Hi David. I agree they are very pricey even second hand. If I’m totally honest, had it not been for the hornby voucher and it’s time limit it is unlikely I would have parted with the money for them. As I said in the video I have lots of the older/railroad versions and have no intention of getting rid of them. A upgrade project is underway to make them a little closer to the new ones. As you said I have picked mine up from sets and second hand very cheaply. A extensive rake can be achieved very cheaply. Cheers David 👍
Hi They are amazing, super review mate.
Thank you Adrian. They are very nice 👍

Hi Richard 👋. Great information, that could make a great scene to model. Lots of pigeon baskets being loaded up on a platform. Brilliant

Well reviewed Aidan, lovely coaches 👌

@@AidansRailways as do i.
Surprised no one's mentioned the greatest improvement on the old-style coaches; flush-glazing for the windows.
Hi David.
Yes they are a vast improvement to the older stock 👍

@@AidansRailways so one coach is the same price as 2 4 and 6 wheeled coaches?
Pretty much. Even second hand I’m seeing them fetch new price and weirdly more 🤔
@@AidansRailways demand the rocket the same if not more
Are those more realistic ones actually in production?
Hi Sebastian 👋. If you are referring to the coaches featured in the video they sure are and have been for a little while now. Hope this helps and thank you for getting in touch 👍
Where can you buy these?
Hi, most UK model shops will sell or be able to aquire these. However you can go direct to HORNBY.COM and purchase them direct from there. Cheers
