We took the Royal Caribbean cruise from Singapore to Phuket Thailand. There were stops at Port Klang and Penang (Georgetown) Malaysia as well. I have been on several cruises and this was Fai's first cruise. We will give you our honest review!

My name is Brian but everyone calls me Greeny. I retired in January of 2020 after working 30 years in Law Enforcement. I wanted to retire young enough to be able to do some of the things I always dreamed about! In 2020 I met Fai on a Tinder date and we hit it off immediately. We have been inseparable ever since!

My wife and I did a Mediterranean cruise a few years ago out of Spain and they took our passport. We have also been on many cruises out of the USA and have never taken our passports. We are on a cruise ship right now heading back to San Diego, California form three locations in Mexico and didn’t have to show our passports one time while visiting the locations in Mexico. Love watching your channel! Congratulations on getting married!

There is a trick to eating at the Buffett, I just finished a Panama Canal Cruise from LA to Miami on NCL Bliss and realized the best times to eat, simply do what others are not doing when they are busy somewhere else, go up at 5pm precisely and the place is dead, go at 7pm its packed, go at 9pm its semi busy, you need to know how to work the ship correctly its an art, same with everything on the ship, I never take the elevator, I walk up 11 floor from my cabin to the buffett in 2 minutes flat and get a free workout in the process and avoid contact with others, you have to know how to work the ship, and its like magic, even the biggest ships like the Bliss. Hi Greeny & Fai . I did the Asia cruise from Western Australia and ended in Singapore. It wasn't my first cruise so l knew all the do's and don'ts. Yeah the passport thing was strange but we didn't have a choice. I had a 8 am breakfast served to my room every morning which was great! I also enjoyed the shows. The best thing was not having to drive home at the end of the night.😜 I'm glad Fai enjoyed the cruise.👍

Pizza guy should have given you the fresh slice right out of the oven , it's what you wanted. It would be great if you can take Fai Fai to Cancun to experience an all inclusive resort there and take numerous day trips on your own to the pyramids like I have.

I dislike the buffets in Thailand too. I don't want to be rubbing elbows with people trying to serve myself food. I, like Greeny, prefer to be served while I dine at a table.

My Thai Girlfriend and I, were on the same cruise on Quantum of the seas, We wanted to depart in Phuket. But they was going to charge us $400 to do so. So we went back to Singapore. That was in Dec. 2019, The Christmas Cruise. And as it turned out, this was pre covid as we knew it . And we both got covid, even though no one knew anything about it until like February 2020. But we had fun on the Cruise, just relaxin and chilling,
They scammed you. You allowed to depart early. No extra fee. I didn’t ask permission just told them we were leaving
love cruising because you're in a different port almost everyday.
I'm with you Greeny I don't like the buffets on cruises either, it's basically the same food served in the MDR but without the headache of rude people cutting the line and finding a spot to sit and eat your food

Been on about 9 cruises - Most of them very good after about the 3rd cruise you learn what to and not do. A def must do is pay like 25. meal upgrade for at least 1 night well worth the money - I agree with you Greeny avoid the buffet people are rude .
We didn’t do the fancy restaurants. Lol. I was fine with what they had.

I went on a cruise with def leppard it stormed the whole time and we couldn’t even go to the party island but the only time I felt I’ll was trying to sleep because when you clise your eyes you feel the waves

How long do they keep your passport for? I know that they don't keep them and then deliver them to your room do they? What if you don't get it back? I'm confused as to how this works. Was it a Royal Caribbean attendant who took it and when did you get it back?
You get it back before you get off at the end of the cruise. They had everyone’s passport on the ship. I was actually in the security room and saw Thai immigration stamping TM7 forms and stapling them into every passport when we got to Phuket

, Vietnam and Bankok (Laem Chabang), Thailand. So, I'm guessing they'll do the same thing. That's pretty uncomfortable to be in another country without your passport . I guess all I'll need is the Visa then.

I left early so when we got to Phuket I met with Thai Immigration in the am on the ship and got it. They actually had like 15 agents come on the ship and put a TM 6 ? In every passport and stamp them all

in VN hotels collect yur passport. Its Flu season, i aint steppin on a Cruise even if its Free, not taking a chance to have the bug spreading on board and get stuck. In Asian countries, any event with a crowd is chaotic. The food, that pizza u had is a symbolic of Cruise food, At least yur wife enjoyed the experience more than u.
I did fine there but got sick flying to Samui a few weeks ago
