I find the cure netherack melody to be useful for establishing a foothold within a Bastion base, allowing you to create a small protected area for spawners. Just slap down a few scatter towers in a choke point and set the spawners behind
i use it to place redstone launchers in range of the portal and other structures to be able to deal tons of damage without being hit
edit: also sometimes doing things that seem like they should be impossible like placing redstone launchers and stuff in the middle of a horde of the bastion base
@@Geckoreo yes this is a key strategy for me on the harder bases.
I use it to place down Redstone towers and destroy lava coils and stuff. If you can get to the top of a pillar you can destroy all coils with one restone machine
That's essentially what I did too except I don't have enough Redstone yet. I cured Nether rack until I was in focus range for mobs, built a little foot hold with scatter towers and 2 golem spawners and just sent them 1 after another to the portal until it was dead.

Cure netherack is one of the most tactically significant abilities in the game. When netherspreaders (the small ones) are destroyed they create a very small amount of grass which you can expand using the cure netherack ability. This lets you create golem spawners and towers in the middle of an enemy base, meaning you don't have to run to the edges to resupply.
Edit: almost forgot this applies to essentially everything you can build. I've built redstone cannons inside of an enemy base using this strategy
When I played it wouldn't allow me to place one inside, I could only go from normal grass and work my way in, I have found you can push so many enemies and attack teh portal with minimal effort using cobblestone golem
@JadePG - Crafted destroying a nether spreader creates a very small amount of grass which you can place the cure netherack spell on. I used a similar strategy to beat most forts but also mixed in some healers to increase their longevity.
I think that sometimes the grass is only visual but certain structures do put in “real” grass when destroyed.

I’ve been using the cure netherack to sort of build into the pigskin bases. Allowing me to summon forces inside their bases so I don’t have to let up on the attack or even create little bases from which I fire the red stone launcher

When i saw the preview of this i was not impressed with it. Then psn gave it away and i gave it a try. 5 hrs later and i am enjoying this game. I used to be a massive fan of starcraft and warhammer. As for tips dont forget to change buildings to stone with the masonry as that improves the walls and towers. Harder to take out. Cure netherack lets you build into the bigger bases and makes taking it over easier.
The way I used the cure netherack ability was to get a redstone launcher in range of the nether portal, it was very tedious but I think it’s a good way you can get to a base that’s a little too high of a level for you.

I have some advice too. If you think creepers aren't that good then you must be wrong. I found out that you shouldn't use them against big groups of piglins, however they can quickly erase any building that might be in your way. Keep in mind, about 3 creepers are enough to destroy an arrow tower instantly so I recommend using creepers to speed things up.
Easiest ways to get over walls? The stone golems aren’t breaking them
The improvement towers around the main base seem to only allow a limited amount of improvements around them. I’d recommend placing the towers as far as possible to allow as many improvements as can be around it. Don’t place them randomly as this can take up space which could hold another improvement.
I HATE creepers and Skeleton on vanilla Minecraft, but in Legend they're my FAVORITE ❤
Creepers are honestly my favorite minions to spawn. My main strategy is just to ignore all the piglin defenses and just bumrush straight to the portal, it's a little bit resource intensive, but I bring all the Firsts with me so they're doing the chip damage and protecting each other while I'm grabbing an extra 40 creepers to melt the portals with lol
Every run is a kamikaze run for me
yeah same, its fast asf literally just going full terrorist mode and its done under sone minutes
I find when I destroy a netherspreader or piglin spawner that there's usually a small ring of grass in its place, on which you can expand with the cure netherrack and build spawners and whatnot.
Honestly i loved having a horde of skeleton archers just sniping the portal of the bastion hoarde and just have lots of cobblestone golems acting as meat shields for the piglins that get too close to the archers. While it is slow it works
11 golems, 5 healers, take out quite a lot of buildings. Love the blue dudes that can roll.
The main thing I wish I knew was if you clear too many portals then you get a REALLY hard boss attack the villages. He basically runs through everything. If it says "you're not strong enough to clear this" then I'd suggest turn around and don't clear that portal yet.
A tip I know is that when you fight against the red hordes bases you can easily deal with it using creepers since the reds have little to no defense you can blitz through using a tiger and just target the portal destroying everything
Curing netherack is a god send definitely get it.
You can also mine the gold from the piglin drills. You do this by doing with the option collecting all. You place the little chest on the gold orbs and you collect extra little amount of it.
I've been trying to gather the gold from piglin drills and it won't let me. I'm on PS4. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Is there a gathering Improvement I need first?
Yea I'm on PS4 you need the gather all mining thing and then you put it on top of the gold then you can mine it
Unlock banners asap and upgrade at least 2-3 levels for massive army's to make forts easy

my creeper homestead was raided but near the end the item i had to defend broke then tbe game just stopped the raid but the game thinks the raid is still in progress

Been playing for a couple of days bur you should have mentioned the redstone canon. Build around, secure it with walls and arrows and some mobs on the flanks. Targeting the important structures with the canon and sending in attacks later after canon have done qlor of the destruction
I have a question I already destroyed all of the hordes bases but I never let them invade a village and I still need to gain witches trust can I still do this?

Do you know if old gen console can have more then two players in your game? My son is on old gen and me and my friend are on series x and it says his game has 1 of 2 players and won’t let us all join together? Also when he starts a new campaign it says there’s only one empty slot to join. But when I start a new campaign it says I have three slots available to invite? Thanks for any help Jade or anyone in the comments.
I just started playing today and I found that building basic defenses like surround it with a wall with archer towers does decrease the level of worry plus if it is attacked it will make it easier to defend when I unlock it Imma upgrade the defenses
Actually bout the color meaning difficulty your wrong horde of the hunt is easy cause they barely have any defenses the spore second cause it is amped up a little however just medium the bastion horde very hard cause heavy numbers strength and defense hence the unbreakble 16:00 16:00 16:00

So I decided to try legend difficulty and my creeper homestead was attacked and the thing that allowed me to build there spawners was destroyed and it says I need to relight the flame but I can't find out how so I can't spawn creepers but I can rally them from there homestead but its annoying to run back and forth from place to place just to get 4 or 5 creepers do you know how to fix it
