    Unless I missed it, did u mention the most important thing about AMP is that u need a subscription to CR Premium for it.
    If that wasn’t needed, I’d be in but ur paying a lot for the handles and then u need a recurring subscription to use it? Unfortunately I passed. My experience with CR has been great and I was excited when I heard about these only to hear that u need a subscription to use them

      subcription kills it... tbh. wish they gave us at least a freestyle mode to use without their app

    • @Jump15official
      @Jump15official  ปีที่แล้ว

      I feel you, but investing in developing the tech isn't cheap. The app is only $69/yr. That's $5.75/mo pretty cheap really for all the workouts and challenges they put into it. But if it's not worth it to you it's not worth it🤙

    • @Jump15official
      @Jump15official  ปีที่แล้ว

      Why should they spend money to develop a badass app and Bluetooth system and then give a portion of it away? The sub is extremely low priced for what they actually provide. But if all you want is a counter then other options may be better.🤙

    • @waltroz6605
      @waltroz6605 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I understand ur point about their costs, maybe they could come up with a one time app fee for AMP buyers instead of a never ending subscription? I could deal with that. I like to use my own workouts. The price per yearly subscription will add up over time

      @@waltroz6605 I understand as well. Honestly we are a bit of the odd ones out because we both like to do our own workouts, but would enjoy having the jump stats. I'll pass along the info to Dave in our next convo as he always likes to hear what people are saying and what they like/don't like. Cheers bud!

    Another terrific video! Hmmmmm. If I were even maybe 10 years younger, I would probably “jump” on these new handles. 😂 However, these days in my 60s I’m not interested in heavy ropes or competing with any version other than my future 80 year-old self. But I hope to see more updates on your channel about the data from these handles! I am truly blown away by the technology. (What not-yet-invented tech would you like to see developed for jump rope?)

    • @Jump15official
      @Jump15official  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lol I see what you did there!🤜
      Honestly I don't know what else I would like to see. Maybe handles with speakers in the end of them🤷 would probably sound like garbage though haha and that's why they have Bluetooth speakers.

      @@Jump15official Hey look! I'm eating my words. I just ordered the AMP handles because I HAD TO TRY THEM! This technology has been baiting me for months and I figured if I don't order them now, when will I? When I'm 80?

    What rope did you use with those handles?

    • @Jump15official
      @Jump15official  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used the 1/4 lb, 1/2 lb, 1.5 lb, and 2 lb. I believe Crossrope says they can handle the 4 & 5 lb ropes as well.

      Crossrope has a solid one and is very portable. I also love Yo Gorilla Mats 4'x6' exercise mat-bigger and portable
      Both very durable from my experience.👍

    I miss the gen 1 cross ropes. I felt the old ropes were more sturdy and lasted longer. But performance with the newer models are definitely better.

    • @Jump15official
      @Jump15official  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The gen 1 had larger gauge cable in them, which made them feel stiffer/sturdy, but that meant less PVC coverage. I felt those ones burned through layers of PVC faster🤷

    • @Jump15official
      @Jump15official  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not bad at all. They invested a lot of money to build an amazing app and then built out the tech for a smart jump rope.
      You certainly don't have to buy.
      I believe they still have the free portion of the app.

  • @shancam9102

    The membership costs £14.99 a month or £99 a year and you can only use the amp handles with the app. Actually not worth it! Sent back

    • @Jump15official
      @Jump15official  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can certainly use them without the app...but that just makes them regular handles.
      If you don't use the features I 💯 agree it's not worth it. But if you do, even without my discount $100/yr is cheap for all the workouts, challenges and tech you get.
      Glad you were able to send back, that 60 day money back guarantee is 👍

    This jump rope not only requires you to pay $200 for the rope, but it requires another $100 per year in subscription fees just to have it count your jumps. It's a total rip off.

    • @Jump15official
      @Jump15official  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It does way more than just count your jumps. Definitely don't buy if that's all you want.

    • @FatherTimex
      @FatherTimex 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Jump15official The problem is that if you don't pay a fee, it can't EVEN count jumps. It's a $100 subscription with a $200 entry fee.
