been practicing me U turns and swerving on the streets when no car, no one, nothing is around in the dead of dawn this video helped me pass me P's test. Got a 100% score.
Very helpful video, recommend to watch this video before you go for the Motorcycle Operator Skill Test (MOST). Thanks for the tips and information. Last week I passed my test with zero mistakes. Don’t forget: Head check!! Head check!! Head check….
hottroddinn Your guess is correct, Yes, I am from India and I have passed my test, now I have full license. I haven't bought a bike yet but I'm looking to buy one of Royal Enfield. Will let you know when I have one.
Yash Narwariya That's fantastic! Congratulations Yash!! Did you get the license using your Indian license? Is it a direct jump to full license? Which bike did you use to pass this?
Hey! I did my Motorcycle Operator Skills Test on a V-retro, Great little bike, but had a bit of trouble with the braking section, passed anyway (LOL) Oh, and a word of advice "Remember the Head Checks" and make sure your bike is roadworthy - Had a guy turned away for a dodgy front brake lever on the day I did my course. Found the course very helpful and really made a big difference to my riding.
i practice me U turns by each time i go into a shopping centre and theres efficient space. i usually do it 2 or 3 goes before i actually park. also i use the front of me garage. enough space to U turn a couple of times before i park it inside. i swerve on the streets on the way to work, and thats sometime about 6:30 am, around Canley Vale to Lansvale area. I also go out in the rain and take it nice and slow, its a good confidence boost. Whenever you find the chance to do a couple of it, do it.
Noice! The dimensions of the course criticals were really helpful for setting up practice circuits. But I didn't hear you mention about head checks. Also, in NSW, points ARE accumulated if you skid 3:00
If car drivers had to do a test like this 99% of them wouldn't have licences anymore and then the tests would be abolished. Us bike riders have to put up with a lot of shit from the authorities.
Wait, so you're both calling out 99% of car drivers as being shit and that they couldn't pass tests like this. But complaining that us riders have to do tests like this to prove competence. Are you saying we should be allowed to be like "99%" of drivers and be barely competent on the road? Why?
done mine and passed about a month ago, I was shitting bricks because of no practice. I was 4th in the group to go and glad I was. First 2 failed. Why did they fail? Headchecks. You don't have to rush the test, take your time, make sure everything is right before you proceed. If it takes you 30 seconds to make sure you are good to go then take it. If you are able to get one of the new CB125s that some places have then it will make things a lot easier, turning circle on those things are amazing
Great vidio-and comments--when I got my learners in1969 you rode around by yourself for a month. The big test WAS! ! You rode a circle -2 figure 8's no cones or white lines -then -" go ride around the block while I go in and get your license .DONE ! ! I
and remember head check, head check and head check, i am loving it, i have failed 3 times my MOST especialy when weaving around the cones and i am still did not get it, what is the tip?
Head checks score very high & the main reason for failing the MOST. 3 points for the 1st failed Head Check 5 points for the 2nd failed Head Check. If you stall the engine after 2 failed Head Checks... it’s a fail. So long as you Head Check at the commencement of each of the 4 segments, you can make up to 4 errors & still pass.
Ummm... there was something I had to remember. Think it was something to do with a haircut. Failed my test a few days ago. Completely forgot about head-checks. Too focused on the tasks. Taking it again today - NSW. Remember - head-check, head-check, head-check, head-check...
It is hard to find empty areas for practicing. I live near Parramatta region; found no such place to practice (just passed my L and got my bike.. need to prepare for P license). Just wondering how did you manage to practice U turns and swerving without cars around? Any suggestion? Where did you practice?
Great video thanx, but is this to NSW standard? Also OMG those jeans how many times did you drop that bike LOL JK, and WTF type of bike is that? Oh and one more thing, so should I do HEADCHEKCS?????
I think that the Motorcycle licensing system in Australia is far to easy and not in line with many other Western countries. after having my open motorcycle license for 20 years I still see inexperienced riders who change from the LAMS approved bikes to 1200-1300 cc bikes that clearly cannot control them. I am all for a graded MOST license where you must prove that you can handle a particular grade before you can increment to higher performance/powered capacity.

Hey Yash. I'm guessing you are from India. Did you take up the test? If you've passed, which bike have you bought? Please let me know.

you must be a pro now
The most comprehensive video on the subject I've seen. Very thorough.
Too many people put up a video just to crap on about their opinions.
Love her smooth flow in delivery especially highlighted around the part about not hitting cones while completing the motorcycle test!
Oh yeah & also that feminine allure of her accent particularly the way she says cones HARR HARR 🌬🌌✌🦧

Now we know why Honda invented the GROM. Looks like the perfect bike to do this test.

Oh and the relief after passing is awesome, knowing you will never have to do that again
Thanks for the video, it just killed all my nerves about the test.
Ps you look like a badass
I just past the test. For someone who from indonesia dont need to worry. If you ride everyday will be past this test easy.

Hey you have it easy if anything.
Just do a 2 day course and you're on the road unsupervised.
No 120 hours
No driving test

I wish things were tested like this in my country. it's too strict over here.
Ummm... there was something I had to remember. Think it was something to do with a haircut. Failed my test a few days ago. Completely forgot about head-checks. Too focused on the tasks. Taking it again today - NSW. Remember - head-check, head-check, head-check, head-check...

🔥Cheers, head ... Checks 🍺
Sorry for asking but what accent do you have 🤔 i cannot pick it lol
The test is too strict in the UK, I think its to squeeze the maximum cash out of motorcyclists as possible and hope that people will give up.
Great video thanx, but is this to NSW standard?
Also OMG those jeans how many times did you drop that bike LOL JK, and WTF type of bike is that?
Oh and one more thing, so should I do HEADCHEKCS?????
Got a fat tyre on the bike there Cool bike. What accent do you have btw?
How big are your tires! haha
are you Irish ? from Ireland ?

Is anyone really ready when they first jump onto a liter bike?
Unless your daily driver is a GTR you really can't prepare for the experience.

Sweet gona find somewhere that wont mind me putting spray paint on their car park LOL
looks so fucking easy
to someone who wasn't a learner, well obviously lol
