I'm so happy to see Heechul-hyung like this! I knew that he is in army now, and i knew about the public service, but THIS... We should thank him to have THIS kind of service XD

He is serving the army by means of PUBLIC SERVICE which means he is assigned in a certain government office, specifically in Sungdong district. He was tasked to be a radio dj of Sungdong cafe (a radio show/channel in Sungdong) that is why he could still be seen in of the viewable radio. In short, he is serving the army as a Public Service officer in a radio show of his district.
Hopefully by this 2 years of hiatus and the training he had for that one month period may built the stronger base within him somehow. He's really talented, and as a petal there's nothing more I wish but a successful, healthy and happy Chullie not only now but few years to come. Idk if I were to able to support him till the end of our life, but it's damn good to think the once oppa I obsessed on turn to be a whole lot better, even if I werent there to clbrate it. Lol idk wth am i rambling xD
k-pop stars are the ultimate entertainers! Weekly concerts, variety shows, hosting, talk shows, learning multiple languages! They should make WAY more than US stars.
Heenim cant go to the army camp because of his legs so he work in the office as his military service. In the office he is in charge of Broadcasting so he got his radio show called Sungdong cafe :)
The DJ-ing thing is part of the public service. He's working at Sung Dong Office and has been chosen as the DJ for Sung Dong's cafe. And he can do whatever he wants after he gets out from work - meet with friends, socialize and whatnot as long as he doesn't appear on TV shows,performs with the other members, etc.
Some DJ's would just pack their stuff after they say goodbye to the listeners and while playing the last song. It's so cute that Heenim takes time to dance before leaving the DJ booth. :D

LOL But Seriously, how many times do you think he watched SHINee's performance :P
He's not on active duty because he had old leg injuries so he does public service stuff instead. Which means he gets to go home at night, and it means he has time for stuff like this.
