had the opportunity to sit and chat over some beers with Teddy a few times...a true gentleman and someone you could sit and listen to for hours. Nothing like the feel of a hard take when sink lining...
Way to go BULLDOG 👍 I hooked a couple like that last fall on a very windy day but it was worth it. I was in my float tube anchored. Thanks for the tying patterns Don.
Great vid, as always, but so interesting how terms such as “deep line chironomiding” means different things to different folks. Many use bobbers or their naked floating line and leaders approaching 30ft so I was expecting the now popular anchoring in 40-70ft of water with type 7 super fast, full sink lines, as opposed to “just” 18-20 ft, which is fairly std depth for many. Cheers and thx for all the great content!

Whats the best kind of tape to use to mark the depth on your line Stays on but doen't messup yor line??
We’ve found that good painters tape (for trimming) stays on and doesn’t mess up your line.
I've been wanting to try buzzer wrap . Where did you get that?
You can buy it at Togens Fly Shop togensflyshop.com
Can you guys do that green back chronmonid on the bench ?
Yes, I’ll tie one up soon for the bench
So the big fish are still there in this lake
