There is an interview Blaire White did with Ronnie also, if you want the backstory for the song. He apparently had this written for a while, and part of it recorded, before he called Jelly Roll about a year ago.
@@Swollen_Goat2000’s punk, country, and pop with a metalcore line dance breakdown has been done before? Country core would be different from y’allrernative music.

Actually this was made like 6 months ago before Jelly was at country music awards and before Beyoncé. Ronnie just held on until the climate was just right
Falling in Reverse just put a song out a few weeks ago with Tech 9 called Ronald that you guys should check out. Then there’s Voices in my Head, Popular Monster, Zombified. All of those songs and videos are fire
I don’t really like country but this is super catchy and we can all relate in some way! Ronnie and Jelly Roll, who knew we needed this! Ronnie released Last Resort( by Papa Roach and reimagined it) then heavy song Ronald and then released this! Hope you guys react to those songs! Damn, talk about versatile and just being a true artist! Will be seeing Falling In Reverse in Michigan in September 15th with a meet & greet with Ronnie! Can’t wait for this show! Fun reaction!
I think I love this even more cause falling in reverse is changing their music as Ronnie changes and grows and in this song with a country twist and then him and jelly roll are both reforming in a way because Ronnie used to be (rumor says) a wife beater and a drug addict and is changing for the better even covering up all his tattoos to start a new and jelly used to sell drugs and advocating for amazing things that like decreasing the drug import into the USA it's a nice collab to show that not only one genre has problems and histories with drugs and other problems and now are trying to reform shows that change is possible and shows exactly how music can bring people of different sides together. The power of music is amazing !
Honestly glad to see you guys reacting to this! It’s not my personally taste but it shows Ronnie’s versatility as an artist. And it’s pretty funny to watch 😂
They recorded this before Jelly Roll won a Grammy. Ronnie and ol’ JR have also known each other for about 12 years now. So it wasn’t really a celeb grab for Ronnie. He just wanted a voice that worked for the song. He got Bunny and Saraya on it also.
There are people all across the music spectrum that delve deeply into songs and the genres that they like and really think about the music they listen to. But the majority of people out there don't come anywhere close to that. Most people have a very passive approach to listening to music where a single repeated phrase or note is all they need to like a song. And before I come across as a music snob, I totally understand that, since I take a passive approach to other forms of entertainment. And yeah, George reminded me of that sort of forgotten late 90s trope of bands leading into a song with hip-hop drums and scratching and then adding some acoustic guitars to what is an upbeat and sorta quirky novelty pop song. I think that formula is destined for a comeback.
Yes boys, you are hearing all of that. He is a master of all genres. Ya'll need to do more FIR . Last Resort is the sequel to Watch the World Burn. I am not a Vampire Revamped and The drug in me Reimagined you must do as well.
He had two trans women in there actually people accused Ronnie of being transphobic but he's not he's never been transphobic he reacted to someone wanting him to use they them pronouns when speaking to them and he said he cant address them as they them and he was called transphobic for that which is ridiculous
I love this song and video. And, I can guarantee you you will be hearing "WooHoo" everywhere. Get used to it. As Ric Flair used to say "If you don't like it, learn to love it."
Ronnie Radke is hated way too much for things he did before half his fans were even born yet. He's the definition of being real. The reasons he went to jail are interesting, but it was mainly for possession of brass knuckles. He explained it in a Tik Tok he made a while ago. One thing about Ronnie is that he takes huge risks in his music. If you listen to more of his other stuff you'll see he is a true fuckin artist, and a masterclass in making music. He's incredibly funny too. You guys are great at breaking down songs, even if you aren't familiar with the artist, and I think that's dope. I like how you actually discuss the lyrics. Good video!
Y'all comparing the woohoo to Kendrick's well written bars that absolutely flew miles over your head and basically saying that his disses were only memorable to the masses and not actual bars is hilarious considering how much of a notoriously bad Lyricist Drake is when he actually writes his own shit and how overwhelmingly popular his music is with braindead morons who just play it because it's popular. Anyway that part was funny as hell tho respect for keeping it real even after everybody talking crazy lol
Yeah, they also don't realize the entire point of that song was making a mockery of what made Drake popular to begin with: shallow music that appeals to the lowest common denominator with generic, but catchy beats and one-liners. These dudes should know Kendrick well enough to know if Kendrick wants to bar up on a song, he can.
Great Review!! I think Jelly Roll will be interesting for Country Music. I prefer older country music like Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, and Johnny Cash. You should check out "Ride the Lightning" by Warren Zeiders when you get the chance, one of the handful of newer guys in country music that makes good music imo. And good job keeping it honest on the Drake v. Kendrick situation again. Outside of the beat, "Not Like Us" was hot garbage. "Wop! Wop! Wop! Dot f him up! Wop! Wop! Wop! Imma do my stuff", "Debo any rap 🥷he a free throw", "How many opps you got, it's too many options, I'm feelin' to pass on this body I'm John Stockton", "How many stocks do I really have in Stock", "Devil is a lie he's a 69 god". It wouldn't have been as bad if people weren't building Kendrick Lamar up as this great lyricist that's gonna give you 5 entendre in a single bar.
You guys need to react to Watch The World Burn live from Caliber TV to really understand Ronnie's talent. It's not like the studio version. Just trust me. Musicians are wearing the "We get it Ronnie, you can music" shirt for a reason
