I hope Insomniac knows about this, but doesn't patch it for our sake. They let us play as Venom for 5 minutes. Let us have the open world, even if it's not for real

Yep! You'll be inside the Oscorp tower, then later in the mission you'll go outside and you'll see the same thing shown in the video where the soldiers confront Venom in Times Square.

Yeah I completely feel you bro since it's one of the funnest glitches to do. If you have the physical version you could reinstall the game without updates to bypass the patch! That's the benefit of a physical disc, although you probably bought it digital like me.
Theres a mew method, after you beat kraven after he visits his moms grave during the black screen when the game switches back to peter close app and reload and of dome correctly you shouod spawn as peter, just do a side mission as peter then quit out of it then boom, free roam venom (with crimes too)
Is there a video you could link me to on this? That would be pretty amazing so I could make more free roam videos with Venom! Also thanks for letting me know about this new method that's a huge useful tip man.
