I always love the moment where mike pulled his gun on gus in shock, he was so not prepared for that move
yeah i like how the 3 of them in frame all have contrasting reactions. Jesse looks angry, Walt looks scared and Mike looks shocked. Really well made scene
I love how every single episode talks about the babies and how long they can be on set lmao
im binging its too funny
Every episode with Vince in commentary he talks about how everyone did such a great job, wonderful shot, I'm drawing a blank, she's a beautiful woman
Canât believe the part where they couldnât get the body in the barrel is improvised, all of them acted so well in that scene ð
I love the cut from Hank taking a shit to victor pouring in the solvent. Itâs just funny. Hank is taking a watery shit through the commercial break.
Gian Carlos Eposito choosing to stand in front of Victor is the kind of blocking decision only talent could think of.
42:39 I laugh every single time I see the size sticker! A detail So small and so clever! I once was on a 1st date and no one told me i still had the sticker on my shirt, but I couldnât see it bc of my boobs ððģðĪĢ
Go Kathleen!
The reveal of Galeâs lab notes folder is forever and always iconic. School notebooks make some ppl get Anxiety already, then add in the viewer remembering where they saw it lastâĶ. ðincredible!
âWhat a badass.â
Fucking love it.
talking about acting.
I remember this argument from way back when they put audio dialog into movies so we could hear people actually talk.
they said that it would be a bad thing and take away from the experience rather than add into it.
of course we have done so much with audio since then, like charlie chaplins "I dont want to be an emperor" speech.
but acting is always definitely more doing than talking. television and movies are a visual medium after all, not a radio play.
so actors will still have to act their way through it. even if people like tom cruise have done their best to avoid it at any cost.
5:26-6:02 I knew they swapped those numbers! That it originally said 10:12 instead of 10:13, as if they could ever fool me. Never, never! I just- I just couldn't prove it! They covered their tracks, they got those editors to edit it for them
I think if anything was inspiration for the Saul fraud, then that's one of the inspirations Vince and Team got it from
why digitally alter the clock? why not just physically do it?
Reshoots are expensive, with having to redo the set exactly as it was and getting the crew and filming equipment it can be far more work than a one man video editing job!
Video editing is an incredible innovation for film in ways you'd never think, the ability to change a detail on set that before VFX would be a huge undertaking is now incredibly affordable.
Because itâd be easier to do it digitally
22:07 Giancarlo joins
Yup thank you sir, I am happy to serve~
