That sitting pad is a necessary thing in Sweden, the schools often have outdoor days, even in the winter. All kids must have one of those pads to sit on for isolation. Winter in Sweden is cold!
i use the 15" and trust me, it's worth it. it fits bigger school supplies and a laptop pouch in the back that comes with strap pads. just my opinion but if you are going to buy i would recommend the 15" laptop. they are a lot smaller than you think ~ ☼

I have a 13" MacBook Pro but I am thinking about getting the 15" because I need more space for traveling purposes, do you think this is a wise decision??
As long as you're ok with hauling a slightly bigger backpack, then yes it makes sense to me. You get more room overall. Your current laptop will fit. So will your next one if you decide to move up to the 15". Your laptop might slide around a little since it's in a bigger compartment but I don't think that's too big of a deal. If you end up going for the 15" backpack, please come back and share your thoughts to help others who may be wondering the same thing.
Loved this review! But one huge suggestion I have is maybe include item comparisons in the future. Since it's a comparison video, I think it'll help much more with the visual aid of a 13 inch laptop placed or something similar.

I was amazed by the advancement of tech. Back in 2016 a heavy duty 15 inch laptop won’t fit in a backpack designed for 15 inch laptop. I just got my kanken no 2 in the regular no laptop version, and I can put my 16 inch MacBook Pro inside. Good review ！

If anyone has a Dell 15 Inspiron 5000, the laptop will not fit the 15’ kanken bag :/ . I’m doing research now to see if the 17’ in is a good deal. Update: I didn’t buy the 17’ bag because im broke but the laptop should definitely in the 17’. Barnes and Noble sells a few bags so I went to the store and tested to see if my laptop would fit in the 15’. It was just a little bit to big, I could zip the laptop sleeve all the way. There was no 17’ bag for me to test but I still say, go for the 17’
@Bunny Exo-light It should, I can't say yes for sure. When I tried to put my laptop in the 15' sleeve, the laptop was poking out a few inches, can't zip up the sleeve. But it should definitely fit in the 17', it's an addition $5 I believe. Happy shopping :)
I'm considering buying one but I need to fit a 1.5 inch binder, folder, 2-4 one subject notebooks a 1 inch sketch book, and a pair of tennis shoes. I love the way they look but I'm so concerned with size. Without knowing if you'll be carrying a laptop and if so, what the size of your laptop is, I'd say 15-inch. It should be big enough to carry your books and supplies. You might find the 17-inch to be just a tad bit too big.

I can JUST about fit a 15.6 inch but my laptop doesn't fit comfortably (you can see the corners if the laptop pushing the edges of the bag) and you cant fit much else in the bag when thw laptop is in there.
