Potting on and coppicing Eucalyptus seedlings.

It's Late Spring and the seedlings are ready for a bit more room and last years seedlings are ready to be coppiced to turn them from trees into shrubs.
Please don't coppice mature plants, Eucalyptus does not respond well to hard dramatic pruning. Plants may go into shock and die.

Brilliant video Zoe thank you so much for making this technique easy to follow. I’ve got the eucalyptus (from you of course) to a fab stage and was just wondering about cutting them back as I too want to use them as a screen. They’re such healthy looking plants I can’t believe I’ve grown them myself, albeit with the help of the grow a long handbook and yourself and I’ve also got the China Asters, again your seeds, about to bloom looking really healthy. Keep posting the videos.
