We hope you enjoyed our stroll around Chinatown here in Kuala Lumpur 😎😋 Do you like to try the different street foods and would you have tried any they we bought today? Let us know we love to hear from you 😀
The KL pancakes are very moist n freshly prepared infront of customers. Those old people have been selling their food for more than 30 yrs. Amazing, n the prices are so cheap. Will definitely make my trip to KL soon. Love n missed all those food n desserts n beancurd dessert my favorite! Thanks Michelle n Steve, for making these Street food videos of KL N lpoh.
Thank you Steve/Michelle! Your videos are so helpful in planning our 1st trip to Malaysia, can’t wait to try everything! Thanks again for sharing. Like your positive vibes!
The pancake guy just called you a German guy. @18:00, that sesame donut is one of my favorite, can’t get them here in Dallas. We’ll be in KL next month, thanks for showing this Steve.
The lively 2 sisters have a beautiful laugh, and great duck to have a customer for 10years! The Aunties working 30 to 40 years is impressive. Also the temptation not to stop every stall just to get coffee.🌷💝💝 Love you both Steve and Michele.. looking as beautiful and healthy as ever!💖💜💖💜💖💜
Oh, my . I’d have to try everything! It all looks so good. Yum! When it’s ‘dispatched’ in front of you, That’s fresh. I remember going to market with mum on Saturday to buy Sundays chicken. It was a stewing chicken and she bought it dressed. It was delicious and a little sticky when mum was done cooking it (pressure cooker). It’s years since I’ve made one.. maybe for Thanksgiving this year. That duck looks soooo good!
Tq steve. Many visitors think that our chinatown are not the same with others because we sell items instead of food. We all know better than that. They do not know we sell awesome food at the backlane !
Hi. There is a bit of difference when you order your coffee, kopi is black coffee with condensed milk, kopi c is black coffee with evaporated milk, add the word kosong means no sugar. Example when u say kopi O, that’s the letter O, means black coffee with sugar no milk, if kopi O kosong, means black coffee, no milk and no sugar. Applies to Tea as well… just substitute the word coffee with tea or teh.
Yes I realise that Andrew, that's why I asked for Kopi C kosong, it's my coffee of choice here. I think your explanation will be useful to the viewers.
Hi Steve, wow the street food looks great. Thank you for turning the camera when they dispatched the bird, I don’t like and can’t watch that. Great video, I hope you’re both doing well. X
Steve, ol'buddy, all the talk about Chinatown is making me hungry for Chinese food, especially at night when all the neon lights are bright and colourful.
4 eye guy, thats why store name. Use to be a man with glasses chopping the duck. And they have limited supply of “duck leg wrap” which is very nice also they wrap some liver, gizzards with the intestines..i think those small plastic bag on the side are it.. 🤤
Oh not sure about Malcolm but I would have liked to be right there with you when you were eating whatever it was covered with sesame seeds and the pancakes. Good to see both of you enjoying the food.
I like your Theme song, Honey..... Honey....... Reminds me of The Dean Martin Television show in the 70s. You remember Dean martin? he is watching this show from Above!

i'm very surprised to see that once very famous Jalan madras market is still there.. ''one of the oldest market in that Area'' and in KL.. it was packed out and even more unhygienic when i was there quite a while back.. i know it was part of the new master plan by Malaysian government to gentrified and clean up that Area pre-pandemic time.. it was classified as biohazard by the city hall.. it looks like bribe money has been passing around.. and those vendors are in their 70s and early 80s by the look of it.. when they're gone so will the market.. your video of that place will be very valuable for the new generations of Malaysian yet to come.. just like Kampong Baru in the throw of transformation that place will follow suit very quickly now..
