Shawn Johnson - post-competition interview in Beijing during 2008 Olympics

I don't follow gymnastics outside of the Olympics, but the women's competition is often a highlight of the Games, five-foot daredevils who fearlessly fling their bodies performing incredible physical feats. 2012 was no exception and I enjoyed watching the success of Gabby Douglas who trained at the same facility in nearby West Des Moines that produced Shawn Johnson. Watching Gabby's destiny unfold brought back fond memories of Shawn whose pint-sized power and bubbly enthusiasm thrilled millions four years ago. So I spent the night watching a couple dozen videos posted here and enjoyed her story and infectious smile all over again. A true champion for the ages! I recorded a few segments myself during & directly following the 2008 Olympics that I haven't seen elsewhere so I thought I would return the favor and post them here for others to enjoy.
