Honestly this video felt comforting to me. 😊 It is good to be reminded that being in a place of not knowing is a part of the process. Thanks for the encouragement!
I'm so glad it resonates with you and is a comfort. I love the idea of embracing paradoxes and when it comes to the unknown the paradox is strong. You can lean into the unknown AND hate it. You'll never make them meet in the middle and be one "mid" thing... it's more like a mental game of ping-pong... back and forth and back and forth 😝 It's just good to have BOTH in balance -- that's whole and human! There are lots of other paradoxes when TTC. Doing okay / not doing okay. Feeling hopeful / feeling totally guarded.... the list is endless. I appreciate your comment and will be cheering you on through the unknown!
What a sweet comment and great reminder for all!! I love this. I'm sending some love your way too. 'Not knowing,' and not being in control are two of the hardest places to be. Love and mindfulness are always great ways to offset and work with the hard stuff. I've got some meditations for when you want to come back to here and now and be kind to yourself... they're all free and listed here: www.lifehealinglife.com/meditations?rq=meditation
I was so disappointed this month, I had string cramps, very strong on the night of 8dpo, on 9pdo I had bright pink stain on tissue paper, but then I got my period yesterday, a day early, i was so disappointed
I'm so sorry Ruth! It's so hard to not read into the signs and get your hopes up... and it sounds like there possibly was implantation and things didn't progress. It's such a rotten roller coaster :( I have a video about "why cycles fail" that I'd love you to check out. I sincerely hope it'll make it a little easier to process, but also be extra kind and gentle with yourself. Getting your period IS grief inducing when you want a baby. I actually just filmed a video about this which will be out in the next month. Hang in there, do a meditation, keep your eye on all of you (including your need to be sad right now) and take it one breath at a time when it gets hard. Sending you support and I appreciate your sharing!
@@thebabyyouwant I've only just discovered you and intend to watch all your videos over the weekend. Thank you for taking the time to reply. Yes, its truly awful isn't it. I'm hoping to find calm in your knowledge and content of videos x
@@ruthconnolly607 There's such a balancing act between being engaged/proactive and not totally losing your mind/quality of life when trying to have a baby that your heart wants to badly! I'm reading your comment two very different ways... not sure if you mean this feels hopeless or it IS giving you hope. Dang! If it feels hopeless, I'm so sorry! My intent is to give medically accurate information and keep people in the present -- which in the 2ww = hanging out in the unknown. It's so easy to imagine the worst here, but with good information and a little practice in "not knowing" it can start to feel way more tolerable (and even hopeful). If you meant I did give you some hope -- yay! As I say in the video, I really have seen so many people convinced they weren't pregnant who were (sometimes even with twins). But the main point is the same... you can't really know until you do the test. And even there you have to keep taking it one step at a time and there's more "not knowing." I hope this makes sense! I'm always open to more feedback and I appreciate you watching and taking time to comment!
During my 2 week wait I felt twinges, pulling, & twitching! I’ve been pregnant before with my son & it felt like the kicks he would do in my belly! So I thought I was for sure getting implantation but turns out I was not pregnant. I ended up getting my period 2 weeks later.
It's so hard not to compare to past feelings and outcomes and to make predictions based on them. It's so human and normal to do this! This is a perfect example of how even in the same body we don't really know based on feelings alone. Thanks for watching and sharing your personal experience.

@@Pinkswimma great question! The research seems to suggest it doesn't matter... and I love the, "We would be extinct!" mantra for questions like, "do I need to... fill in the blank... to get pregnant?" Actually every body is different remember. Meaning not everyone's uterus is the same shape or sits in the same area. For instance mine is heart shape higher up and further to my back.
Hi and thanks for watching Kat! There are definitely different shaped uteri. The heart shape (aka bicornate) is something about 1 in 200 people with uteri have and tipped more towards the back (aka retroverted) happens in around 1 out of 4 or 5 bodies and can even change from day to day in some bodies. As your own story shows, you can have various combinations too! That said, in all the shapes and tilts the general uterine position is still low and between the rectum and bladder. Hopefully the theme of "know your body!" and investigate so you can get more customized ring out loud and clear if you watch/read much of my content and I appreciate you chiming in to give some good examples! For others who want to learn more about uteri shapes/positions there's a great NY Times article called "Know your uterus" from April 18, 2020 that's worth a google and read! www.nytimes.com/article/uterus-conditions.html
On the 28 February i fell a sharp pain on the right side of my womb 2 days after i i start spotting and slide bleeding on the 3th day it stop what does that mean
Hello, I'm afraid I don't have enough information to give you a good answer. If you have either ongoing lower abdominal pain or bleeding that is unexplained and getting worse/repeatedly happening, the best way to get to the bottom is to see a doctor (and probably get an ultrasound). Depending on whether you are/were pregnant or not I'd have different ideas on what you would want to look for, but without looking it would all be guesses! If things progress or happen again I'd say at least call a nurse line if you can. Taking a pregnancy test (if you aren't sure if you're pregnant or not) might give you more info to talk with a doctor or nurse about too.
I felt a lot of early pregnancy after 2weeks my period last and my period only lasted3days heavy bleeding I'm usually 4-5 days in my period and now 3days late didn't took any pregnancy test yet will take it if after a week i didn't get my period.
It's such a roller coaster and hard not to read into any sensations and shifts from baseline! The truth is, it might have been an "off" cycle with no pregnancy, but it also might have been the start of a pregnancy that couldn't progress (most likely due to genetic issues). Some statistics suggest as many at 50-75% of pregnancies end before a period is missed (so super early before a lot of people even know... unless they're paying very close attention). Hang in there! www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/322634#miscarriage-rates-by-week
@@thebabyyouwant Yeah it might be but i'll wait after a week or 2 if my period will not come i take a pregnancy test just to be sure and btw the symptoms go away before i missed a period its been 4days now I'm totally 95% fine and thanks for your response.
