I find it strangely relaxing watching others play these sim games. Haven't played this one myself but did play a bit of ETS1. I recently enjoyed playing Mudrunner and am now looking forwards to Snowrunner. Oh and by the way, Kate is a hot water bottle.

ETS2 is a fantastic game with or without VR. It's definitely been one of my favourite games over the past decade, especially when played with a steering wheel and pedals!
Kate is definitely a hot water bottle! I absolutely love Euro Truck Sim 2 in VR, kicking back and taking in the scenery, almost crashing (like you did) due to the sun's glare in the eyes! Love the added touch with the "bit of blue" mags. It may not look that great on the graphics, but remember graphics don't always make the game, having decent gameplay makes the game fun! Would love to see an overnight drive somewhere, keep the videos coming! Keep that shop door open, there are people still interested in your content! You play what you want to play and don't ever be a sheep following the current trends! We appreciate the time and effort you spend on these videos for us. Great video 👍 I’ve recently fallen in love with this game in VR (Oculus Rift S). Really struggling to find a way of recording it from the headset though because there is nothing on the PC monitor screen to capture. Can I ask what you’re using to record your headset footage?

Plus a couple of flight sims, MSFS 2020 and X-Plane 11, currently I am leaning towards MSFS 2020. All the sims are played in VR, I have an Oculus Rift S. I have always been curious on trucking simulators but could not find a VR version. I live in the States, so ATS does have an attraction to me, but I am thinking of going with ETS2. It just looks better to me, the scenery, the large amount of DLC, and the European slant. Thanks for the drive in VR, you have sold it to me. Time to get my truck on.
i absolutley love ETS2! i have over 400 hours on it. (i cant play more due to work) and im really considering to get me a VR headset and installing promods. and the best DLC is the tuning packs and interrior accessories. they just make the game so much better!
This is my GO-TO game just lately, bought the Thrustmaster T8HA shifter to go with my T248 wheel and pedals and a truck shifter, just can't stop playing it, it's brilliant and VR just adds fully to the immersion and enjoyment. I'm using my Quest 2 wirelessly , just brilliant ! As you say , I too, wish Farming Sim was playable in VR too, that would be awesome ! I am on an oculus quest 2 and i tried ets vr, my resolution sucked and i tried nearly everything to fix it from changing it in game till changing it in the config file. Nothing worked. anyone know how to get a better resolution?
I'm thinking of starting with VR and found this video. You've sure got a voice that's easy on the ears - I could listen to you all day. Can you answer a daft question - in VR do you just turn your head left or right to see what's coming at intersections ? I really like ETS2 but I get annoyed trying to see my mirrors and pulling out of a yard onto the road usually results in a vehicle hitting me. If all I have to do is actually turn my head (i.e. the headset) as you would in real life, then I'll be buying a VR set right away !!

How in the world do you make the game's graphics look so good. I have a very powerful gaming pc to handle graphics in ETS2 but all of a sudden VR's imaging doesn't look realistic at all in ETS2. The headset I use is the Oculus Rift S, and I've heard similar opinions with other high end headsets for ETS2 too. Sorry to spoil this topic, because I was very excited at first to try ETS2 in VR.

I have been playing ETS2 since 2013 and ATS since its inception in 2016. I absolutely love them both! The game is just so enjoyable and relaxing, I have been playing VR for a long time but only recently decided to play both games in VR and I don't regret it at all. If you have VR and either of these games, you must play them in VR!

So I've got a HTC Vive and I was thinking of getting Euro truck simulator 2 and a wheel to give me some practice. When I was doing some reversing on Thursday for ten minutes I royally screwed it up.

I’m using an oculus rift and tweaked the settings, but for me it’s way too blurry compared to flat screen so I can’t be in there for too long.

Like being in a boat in waves, vr is one of those things you either love it or hate it. I prefer my 4 monitors with tobii5 head tracking. Cheers

How do you not get shaky black edges when recording mate? I’ve been trying to stream with an oculus but always have shaky borders.

vr controllers dont work no. m n k or 360 pad easier if you dont have a wheel.

I tried vr steamlink on my Oculus 3, it didnt work as good. I guess i have to save for a Valve Index too.

I love ets2 in vr, but do you also have aliasing going on near distant, aliasing is a little bad after 2 hectometer (100m)
What is your rig? I have a GTX 1080 Ti with a I7-4930K, and it doesnt look like that.

You've convinced me to now get this game. Question. Do you use a keyboard or a steering wheel set up for this? If a wheel. What do you use by any chance! Im looking for something i can use for PC driving games!

I have been playing ETS2 since 2013 and ATS since its inception in 2016. I absolutely love them both! The game is just so enjoyable and relaxing, I have been playing VR for a long time but only recently decided to play both games in VR and I don't regret it at all. If you have VR and either of these games, you must play them in VR!

I'm here because I've got my 3A (reversing) training next week and I've only got four hours training due to my lessons getting cut short last week due to a fault with the unit. So I've got a HTC Vive and I was thinking of getting Euro truck simulator 2 and a wheel to give me some practice. When I was doing some reversing on Thursday for ten minutes I royally screwed it up.
