Val Roseg - GRAUBÜNDEN - SWITZERLAND

This frozen paradise can only be discovered on foot or on a horse carriage.
After reaching Pontresina, in Graubünden, you can walk into the valley and reach the Roseg Gletscher Hotel in about 2 hours. There is no other place to stay if you wish to spend a night here. On your way up you can stop feeding the birds living in the woods and, if you are lucky as we were, you can also spot a deer passing by. You are likely to encounter more wilderness late in the afternoon or early in the morning, when it's less crowded.
