    Great review. Thanks for taking the time to do it. I'll be following for your next review as this bike is on my radar.

    "Exhaust note is not as good" agree with this. Looking forward future replacement of exhaust components.

      Yeah I definitely want to get a slip on for the bike. I don’t hate the exhaust tone, it’s just different.

      @@pnwxplore listening to the exhaust of the Taureg 660 I want that. Same parallel twin 270 degree motor configuration. The Norden sounds whirry/tooty/whistely to me vs growely/throaty especially in low rpm.

      arrow cat delete mid pipe & ti silencer with Rotty's intake make it sound great , louder than id wish for but wow wakes it up hard core and soo much less heat wont be cooking the shock like i did on the 1090r twice 🤞

    Great review. I'm looking to trade my 1190R for the Norden. It's sounds like exactly what I want from a bike.
    Looking forward to your continued videos of the Norden.
    Enjoy your new bike.

    Thank you for making this video, new subscriber as I’m thinking of picking one up too…any plans to make a medium or long term review? Looking forward to seeing one in the flesh next week

      Hey thanks for watching! I plan on doing a longer term update, perhaps after the end of this season after some more trips

    The engine will quiet down with some more miles, and after putting better oil in after break -in. I'll take the 1090R windshield anyday, the Norden is miserable (at least at 5'10")

    I have 6000 miles on my 901 and I am loving it, I had a immobolizer issue and the dealer replaced it under warranty quite easily. Imo a rather minor issue that was taken care of. My biggest gripe is that my bike makes a grinding sound when I have a passenger. My dealer cant figure out whats causing the sound. Anyone else experience that? Other than that, this bike is absolutely fantastic.
    Every ride to work is fantastic!

      Dang that is a load of miles! I’m only a little over 200 haha. But only had it for a bit over a week now. Perhaps check your chain tension?

    Congratulations! The Norden seems to be a really great bike (from other reviews, too) and I hope it serves you well for your adventures. I'd be curious how you pack it for touring/camping, how many days you plan on being away on it, and what you will use for route planning/navigation (100 mile overnight trips, or 500+ mile multi-day trips). All good stuff! Peace. Pete - KI7LIl

      I could definitely do a video on how I pack. I still have to refine some things and get a few more trips under my belt. Thanks for watching!

    I like it but it’s still over 100 pounds heavier then my 701. I like the looks, interments and seat.

    • @pnwxplore
      @pnwxplore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 901 serves a totally different purpose than the 701. Jumping up to a twin cylinder bike is going to come with some weight.
