Me neither!!! Was stoked to see it. They blew me away reacting to Nevermore as well. Love this song has always been a favorite of mine. Just wish it was the original not the remastered crap
Loudest band I've seen was Mindfuck who supported Slayer, when they started their first song it sounded like I was standing next to an aeroplane taking off.
I read Dave Mustaine's autobiography recently and what really blew me away was the amount of drugs that fueled this band. Even up to the Rust In Peace album, Dave said every dollar they made went up their nose or in their arm.
Good Morning Black Friday and the Conjuring from their Peace Sells album are their best early songs and still can be considered a couple of their best songs with Chris Poland and Gar Samuelson at lead guitar and drums prior to the legendary line up of Nick Menza and Marty Friedman. Both Chris and Gar have a jazz background which I think Dave adopted into all Megadeth music and makes them rhythmically different from other thrash bands
Megadeth music can be categorized many different ways... by album, by lead guitarist, by decade. There are enough Megadeth songs recorded that you could react to one Megadeth song a week and it would take years for you to get through the full discography. That said, here are a few songs y'all need to listen to at some point to get a better idea of who and what Megadeth is. 'Last Rites/Loved to Deth', the first song off the first Megadeth album. Raw energy. 'Good Mourning/Black Friday', a song off the second album which starts slow, then builds to a frenzied ending. 'In My Darkest Hour', off the third album. A melodic metal masterpiece. 'Take No Prisoners' off the fourth album. In your face Thrash but with a deeper meaning. 'Skin o' My Teeth'. First song off the fifth album and Megadeth first album with more radio friendly music. Fast pace. Fun lyrics. The sixth album is a toss up between two songs. 'Victory', which has the titles of over twenty previous Megadeth songs mixed into the lyrics. And 'Addicted to Chaos', another thought provoking song. Finally, off the seventh album, a deep cut rarely reacted to, 'FFF'. The last song off the album. One off the shortest Megadeth songs. One of Marty's best solos, imho. Hope to hear more Megadeth here soon. Keep up the good work. 🤘🤘🤘
I’m old enough to remember when this came out, we were still pointing thousands of nukes at each other, so nuclear annihilation was a popular topic. The same year Metallica put a song “Blackened” on their And Justice for All album and Slayer had “Skeletons of Society” on the South of Heaven disc. All the cool kids were doing it.
Agreed! I know you guys prefer studio versions, but She Wolf - Live Rude Awakening is a must see. I’d wager that it’s one of the most impressive live performances you’ve ever seen by anybody! If it helps, the version uploaded by Sam Hodby (12 years ago) is probably by the best.
This was this first heavy metal album I ever owned, back in the cassette days,I picked this over "And Justice For All" back in 88 or 89! Either choice wouldn't have made a difference, but I'm glad I picked this one
Megadeth has two definitions to their name. In fact, back in the day they had concert shirts that showed them. 1. Death of millions due to nuclear bomb. 2. The world's state of the art speed metal band.
@@pmac2597 yeah I had the white one, Vic on the front with a sinking ship. Think it said "I kill for thrills" on it? I'm going back nearly 35 years but I think that's right 😂
Loved this reaction. Going from not knowing Metal to being fans of Megadeth in... what... less than a year or so? Very cool. Your channel has been growing steadily, and that 100K Subs level is just around the corner. As a subscriber and musician, I find it quite satisfying to see your channel grow, right along with your musical tastes and experience. Good on ya!!! 🤘
Since Dave's family (Mustonen) comes from Finland and he's proudly two-time F1 World Champion Mika Häkkinen's doppelgänger and with Teemu Mäntysaari now being in the band, I dare to recommend couple of songs on which Teemu plays and also sings: "Wintersun - Sons Of Winter And Stars (TIME I Live Rehearsals At Sonic Pump Studios) REMASTER" and "Smackbound - The Game".
Fellow watchers, please supply these kind folks with some links to make it easier for them--and to ensure we get to listen to the best and full videos . . .
BTW the high voice singing "I don't want to set the world on fire" just before the riff kicks in is a sample from the song of the same name by the Ink Blots, released sometime during WWII.
Would like to see you guys get into some 70's prog rock. Maybe the band Yes and early Genesis. The song Roundabout by Yes and Firth of Fifth by Genesis.
Thanks for reacting to this song. I hope that you'll react to OPETH - Ghost of Perdition (LIVE AT RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATER). It is a live performance which is much better than the studio version of the song and the guitar & drum work are incredible.
Everyone has different opinions but the only remaster I thought was better was the first album. Still loved the reaction, thanks for doing a track that doesn’t get many reactions. Please checkout Devils Island off of the Peace Sells album if you get chance!👍🏻🤘🏻
So Far, So Good...So What! is actually my favorite of their early records. But, Rust in Peace remains their best. Saw them touring for that record with the Clash of the Titans tour (also featuring Anthrax, Slayer, and Alice in Chains! Killer Lineup) and they were very impressive.
When it comes to Megadeth albums remastered u should always get the original, think there is only 1 decent remastered the first album ? Can't really remember lol😅
These remixed/remastered versions are interesting, but I still much prefer the originals. This track sounded almost too "clean". Given the subject matter, all the distortion of the original worked so much better.
Hey, my 8yr old watches these reactions with me sometime. He just asked what that thing is you're doing with your left hand [over your left shoulder]. I have noticed the same thing in several of your videos, but I thought that I might take this opportunity to let you know.... it is probably not the "look" that you are intending. I realize people are sometimes dumbfounded to know what to do with their hands and arms when yhey listen to music (especially people who don't play guitar or drums) ..... but, you might want to rethink 'the jerk' you're throwing over your shoulder. Sorry for the seeming denunciation, we otherwise enjoy the reactions - especially with so much Megadeth. Thank you.
If you really want to hear some of the stuff right after Dave was kicked out of Metallica, I can recommend "Last Rites/ Loved to Death or "Killing is my Business....". Their first record is poorer production value but incredibly underrated IMO.
Nice reaction, sadly the remaster is absolute crap compared to the original 88 mix. Its great your giving this amazing band a chance though. thumbs up.
Dave totally fucked up the remasters, this is remastered and it just is amateurish, each instrument sticks out and doesn't blend together. Sure it's the song, but it just isn't mastered right and this is one of the worst examples, song is great originally. When doing the old Megadeth's look for the non-remastered versions.
These are the most atrocious remasters ever made - brick wall limited, too much bass, dynamics lost. They are the Star Wars special editions of the metal world and a vanity project - listen to the og albums instead, way more effective. I spent years and a fortune rebuying the original cds when I realized how bad this set was.
Never expected a reaction to this song! AWESOME pick.
Me neither!!! Was stoked to see it. They blew me away reacting to Nevermore as well.
Love this song has always been a favorite of mine.
Just wish it was the original not the remastered crap
You have to check out The Conjuring. It's one of their oldest songs, and in my honest opinion it's still some of the best guitar work to this day
This !!
Seriously they have to!
Check out "My Last Words" and "In My Darkest Hour". Two deep cut fan favorites from Megadeth. Keep up the great work 🤘❤️🇨🇦
I like Hook In Mouth from this album.
Definitely my last words and the conjuring
One of their best songs imo
Your opinion is a fact
@@ali965 YO IT'S ALI
Should also check out their music video Sweating Bullets.
Saw them in the 90's. By far the loudest band I've ever seen .
Doesn’t come close to Motörhead tho.
Or Maiden
Loudest band I've seen was Mindfuck who supported Slayer, when they started their first song it sounded like I was standing next to an aeroplane taking off.
I think I'm on my tenth copy of So Far...So Good ...So What! I just keep wearing them out!
Hell yea man such an underrated album.
This song fucks so hard, intro is orgasmic
I read Dave Mustaine's autobiography recently and what really blew me away was the amount of drugs that fueled this band. Even up to the Rust In Peace album, Dave said every dollar they made went up their nose or in their arm.
Essa foi a primeira música que ouvi do Megadeth lá em 1988. Devorei esse disco um milhão de vezes. Não há nada igual ao Megadeth.
Megadeth "Dystopia" 2016 album... Highly recommended & grammy award track.
Iam 55 now when i was 15 or 16 when i heard this album i was hooked on thrash metal
Good Morning Black Friday and the Conjuring from their Peace Sells album are their best early songs and still can be considered a couple of their best songs with Chris Poland and Gar Samuelson at lead guitar and drums prior to the legendary line up of Nick Menza and Marty Friedman. Listen to Lucretia next vastly underrated guitar work is awesome 👌 👏 👍
You should have played Into The Lungs of Hell along with this. They pretty much go together
amazing reaction👍🏻👍🏻..
next megadeth Wake up dead song..
Kick butt take no prisoners 😮😮🎉
Hard to go wrong with Megadeth!!
Never react to a remastered album, always the OG !
Been a MeGaDeTh fan since the beginning. One of my favorites and just a straight up banger is Wake up Dead.
More Megadeth Please!
Angry Again (from the movie Last Action Heao)
Go To Hell ( From Bill & Teds Bogus Journey)
Yeah go to hell is one of their best 👌
The first song Dave ever wrote on his way back to LA after Metallica kicked him out.
This was the first Megadeth album I ever listened too... and still one of my favourites.
😮 I think it's great that you guys can recognize the compositional significance of music that may be out of your wheelhouse
Thanks Tippa Gore and the PMRC for the parental warning stickers made finding great albums so much easier

Im back to Megadeth after 30 years.....:-)))))))))) It is insane :-)!!!!
Still must do she wolf live rude awakening an awesome live Megadeth performance
Agreed! I know you guys prefer studio versions, but She Wolf - Live Rude Awakening is a must see. I’d wager that it’s one of the most impressive live performances you’ve ever seen by anybody! If it helps, the version uploaded by Sam Hodby (12 years ago) is probably by the best.
And BTW - you WILL NOT overlook the drums in this one! 😂
Yeah the video for that is awesome 👌
Rude Awakening version is sick!🔥
There’s a few old videos of them opening with this song. So sick.
The best.

1. Death of millions due to nuclear bomb.

That second one is one of their best ever t shirts
thanks for stating what everyone else who follows the band knows, sherlock.

Thx Roddy! Yep, 8 months really & it's been awesome! Thx for rolling with us!
Amazing to hear a reaction to this absolute classic. It's got a bit of everything
Y'all should consider Looking Down the Cross for your next Megadeth reaction. Killer song.
Raul nailed it !!! As Megadeth always does
Since Dave's family (Mustonen) comes from Finland and he's proudly two-time F1 World Champion Mika Häkkinen's doppelgänger and with Teemu Mäntysaari now being in the band, I dare to recommend couple of songs on which Teemu plays and also sings: "Wintersun - Sons Of Winter And Stars (TIME I Live Rehearsals At Sonic Pump Studios) REMASTER" and "Smackbound - The Game".
from this album my fav one is "mary jane". underrated, no one will recommend it. also this song is incredible
My favourite Megadeth song. I'm sure you've seen the live performance of it from Essen on TH-cam, if you haven't then get onto it now! 😆
Beware my friends as you pass by
As you are now so once was I
As I am now so you must be
Prepare my friends to follow me

In my darkest hour also great 👍
Awesome reaction. Love this track so much. Grest reaction channel you guys have.
Thx Steve!
The re-mastered ones are never better?! What on earth???
Playing Into The Lungs Of Hell as the intro to this is mandatory.
Love band and song
BTW the high voice singing "I don't want to set the world on fire" just before the riff kicks in is a sample from the song of the same name by the Ink Blots, released sometime during WWII.
Such a banger of a song.
Great song. Dave Mustaine is a fantastic song writer and lyricist
Megadeth "She Wolf live-Rude awakening"is worth zo React too
Hi.. Greetings from sweeden 🎉🎉🎉🎉
This whole album is great
Good Mourning/Black Friday!
Should react ti their sing Symphony of Destruction the official video. It's like a mirror of today's times in America
good job hook in mouth from this album
Back in the 80's, I was NOT a fan of Thrash. I was totally in the Hair Metal scene, except, I had this album and loved it! Been a fan ever since
Love thsi
Would like to see you guys get into some 70's prog rock. Maybe the band Yes and early Genesis. The song Roundabout by Yes and Firth of Fifth by Genesis.
awesome megadeth song
Seen them at least six or seven times I have never walked away disappointed
Megadeath is a term used for the kill count from nuclear war. MEGADETH , Guitar Supremacy.
Their best song
Thanks for reacting to this song. I hope that you'll react to OPETH - Ghost of Perdition (LIVE AT RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATER). It is a live performance which is much better than the studio version of the song and the guitar & drum work are incredible.

yeah, the lyrics
The thing i liked about Mustaine is he was recreating Metallica so we ended up with 2 of top 5 bands ever
In my darkest hour for sure.
Would like to hear your thoughts on a song called Killer of Giants by Ozzy Osbourne . It's deep. Love the channel and keep it up 😊
When it comes to Megadeth albums remastered u should always get the original, think there is only 1 decent remastered the first album ? Can't really remember lol😅
Always the original. Raw form the way it was recorded is really the only way. IMO at least.
My daughter told me , if your Dad don't like MEGADETH...wish him Happy Mother's Day.
It’s like watching your mom and dad pretend they get your music
Motörhead….. Bomber. You guys should check that one out
Mary Jane off this album is a masterpiece.
In case you don't know "Megadeath" is a measurement quantifying the death of one million people in a nuclear war.
Fact and Science: Listening to Megadeth in the gym guarantees an increase 10-30% of your max bench press.
My darkest hour!
Dave Mustaine was too good for Metallica. His music writing is second to none! Bars & Barbells are #1 on TH-cam! killer job guys!
Hey love your megadeth stuff,🤘try polyphia " ego death" I know you like guitar ,solos ,riffs and stuff, you won't be disappointed,
do high speed dirt

Yeah this is bad because of it.
One of the hallmarks of early Megadeth up to Rust in Peace is how mean Dave Mustaine’s guitar tone is. His riffs and solos just sound rude.

I have to say that the original version is much better. On you free time you should listen to the original and compare them.
Hello reaction song rattlehead 1985
Metallica......😂😂😂. Thx for throwing Dave out!
Nice reaction, sadly the remaster is absolute crap compared to the original 88 mix. Its great your giving this amazing band a chance though. thumbs up.
dark nair beautie
I recommend against the Megadeth remasters. They simply failed to get them right. Often remasters are better, not for Megadeth.
The Megadeth remasters don't sound as good as the originals. They made them louder and the drums have a soft, squishy sound.

Ugh....."remastered" is trash! Man..... Megadeth was made to be experienced raw and real. Processing just makes it sound wrong and "off".
Too bad its the remastered version. Original is better
