When a company like Bluehost offers Unlimited Websites with 1 domain.
Does that mean you can piggyback the unlimited websites under the 1 domain....
Or do you have to purchase a separate domain for each website..
If the website can be piggybacked under the main domain.

Okay, this is all obvious... but does a domain name always equal an exact IP address? If you call 123 1st St, Salem, OR "HOME". Then, if you move to 123 2nd St, Salem, OR, does it become "HOME2" or can it stay "HOME"? Is the domain name just a de-encrypted IP address? And how do places like GoDaddy sell own and domain names? Do they own IP addresses on servers which they rent out? Or do they have to request on domain name from some other server or????

Where do domain providers get their domains? I can't find the answer anywhere. Is it possible for me to create and host my own personal domain without paying a third party?

From how I understand it you would have to do something with the dns. But even huge company’s like Apple get their domains from a provider
I looked it up, you need to register the domain name with icann. You would also need to be registered domain provider in order to make it, I am not sure how easy that is
