Alumbrados | Christmas Lights in Medellin Colombia

We take a tour of Christmas Lights in Medellin Colombia (Festival). Parque Sabaneta Antioquia and Parques del Rio Medellin host an event where the city hangs millions of Christmas lights.

A 6-week event that begins the first week of December and lasts until mid-January. This event is free to all and is sponsored by the local hydropower company EPM.
Our tour begins at Parques del Río Medellin where the displays can be considered more modern but still based in tradition and heritage. We then move on to Parque Sabaneta Antioquia where the displays are more traditional and truly eye-catching. There are 2 more stops - you won't believe your eyes. Join us in the celebration of lights and good will.
