Coming from someone who lives less than a mile away from the factory I rarely smell it and our economy is terrible our local government has no knowledge about how to deal with it.
I remember one time I was in Yorkville maybe around 12 at night and I passed by the factory and I had no idea it was a Skittles factory until I was told by a resident and I tell you it was the most confusing and funny experience I've ever felt passing by the factory and it smelling like Skittles it was crazy lol

There is also a Wrigley's factory in Flowerybranch, Georgia. You can smell the gum being made there in that town also. I had a friend who lived there and I always thought it was fun/cool when I drove through and could smell the fruity flavors 🌈🥰
I have a Skittle story. They are my favorite candy and I eat them all the time. Daily. One time I inhaled the sweet nectar of Skittle spit into my lungs as I was trying to swallow lol, and I hacked my brains out like I taken the world's biggest bong hit. Then it gave me bronchitis. Had to go to the hospital. But the funny part is now, whenever you inhale some food into your windpipe we call it "Skittle lung."😂
