Check your idler pulley’s. It could also be those.
I just had to change all 5 on mine, due to a “resonating” sound while idling only.

Thanks for the insight. The idler pulleys are fine, the harmonic balancer was replaced not too long ago. If I had to take a guess I'd say it's the engine mounts trying to tell me that 500.000km is kinda too much

@@alexderkach_ engine mounts 100%, My winter car is also m47 compact with 380k :D, you can set the idle slightly higher with diagnostics, I set as high as I could, it feels better

on my e93 335i between 1600 - 2000 rpm some metal thing in the roof vibrates its so annoying
