Is this what ppl r referring to as batana oil? We call it palm kernel oil in ghana. You can chew and apply it on ur skin before u bathe n u come out all shiny esp in harmattan season
I love this, good job dear. I wanted an alternative for a lady who is into palm kernel oil production. She uses the traditional method so her oil comes out dark always. Thank you for this ❤
Ooo wow #Sianorkie, you have brought back so many memories ooo. We really have a lot missing in our culture these days. That was surely the best oil in our villages ooo. I remember my childhood days in Nkawkaw and in capeCoast (around 1998) when we keep them in our backyards for the sun to dry them afterwards we stored them in buckets and wait for these women in the palmkernel oil business to collect them. Sometimes they even had to pay for the kernels if they really looked good and are a lot. We sometimes used part of the money for coconut ice creams and alewa🥰😅😅 ooo what fond memories ! With my love for organics, I will definitely try this out anytime I get to Ghana. Thank you so much for sharing.
awwww had similar experience with kernels ooo. as a child we never threw them out, either we use them for oil, create holes in the soil to play oware or sell them. Thanks for sharing your beautiful experience. Really appreciate it ❤❤❤
I used to eat these when I was a child and I used to call them miniature coconuts because they look and taste like coconut. I was fascinated with them as a child. Thanks
Hi. Thank you for the video. I was wondering if you knew where I can buy these kernel seeds online? I live in the US and I can’t find them. Not even in African stores.
Good day ma'am, I do like the process in making the kernel oil from this video of yours, but I do have a question. Which did you allow to cool, the oil that was scooped out from boiling, or the milky water that was boiling why you were scooping out the oil?
Very simple, short and info packed. Great job, love it
Thank you 😊
Wow,the oil is such a colourful one... I will try it out
This is easier and less stressful. ❤
Great job. I remember as a kid i used to chew this then spat on my Palm then i rub it on my body and off to school 😀
Especially harmattan........for us after doing that you shower though. That way you body does not dry out after bathing.

Awww my pleasure I honestly don't think they are sold in stores. Most people discard them. You can only get some when you get the palm fruit itself
Please what is the product of the blender u use in blending the seeds.
