I agree and also agree with the guy who says that sequel trilogy isn't hard to surpass. But it has surpassed all the other shows including the Mandalorian, which I loved. So yeah, I think it's great!!
Ahsoka was basically SSJ Gohan with Anakin as Android 16's head. :D Also, it felt like the lesson Qui Gon told to Obi Wan or Yoda to Anakin, that Ahsoka must be mindful of the present and never dwell on the past or the future. But the phrasing was brutal: "Adapt and live or don't and die".
i loved that they showed Darth Vader if he hadn’t been cut up and burnt. 100/10 on that alone i know that Revenge of the Sith showed him, but this is an older, stronger, and more menacing DV
Jacen Syndulla is definitely living to his legends namesake of his legends counterpart, Disney needs to not only let Dave be in charge but also need to LET HIM COOK the storylines. This was a fantastic episode
Hopefully they don’t stray from legends too much. He is supposed to die in Luke’s temple later but they’ll divert it, Ezra will begin his training, Luke will finish it.
The knights of Ren are fore users as that's a requirement to join them and we see them use the force in episode 9 in the fight with Kylo as 2 of them force push them and we see them use the force in the comics.
I finally have come to the conclusion...Filoni brought one to the force of true padawans and fans. It's just the other half of us ended up being Sith or dark side users.

I would rather see old republic sith / Jedi that’s story hasn’t been told in animation or live action. They can go back hundreds - thousands of years before the main trilogy

Be very cautious of Dave filoni. He ruined alot of the legends continuity material. I don’t keep up with the new canon so I’m not sure if he has done it with the new canon but you just never know with that guy. He only cares about his story and his characters and isn’t afraid to retcon or contradict other things if it benefits his works.

You clearly don't know what you're talking about. Clone Wars was George Lucas Approved, and everything under Disney Star Wars can only borrow concepts from the Legends, not adapt them. Since Filoni can't adapt Legends Story's into the new canon, the next best thing is him taking characters, concepts, etc. and creating a new story that has to somehow tie into the Sequel Trilogy(unless he's allowed to continue telling a new story in this new Galaxy that's been created).
I don't agree with your comparison with Ashoka and Gandalf. Because that was between more like a God figure, with a lower godly type of figure in that World. Jedi are Master and Student type of relationship. I hate that the Lesson wasn't really well explained by the show. Maybe on purpose, the usual "LeT tHe AuDiEnCe CoMe Up WiTh WhAtEvEr" I hate that shit. Your telling me a story, fucking tell me a story. But this is how they wanted to do it, so I guess that's what we all doing lol. I saw the lesson similar to Ruroni Kenshin. When his master told him "I am going to kill you tomorrow, decide if you want to live or not". Along those lines. Ashoka is suppose to be a "GRAY" Jedi, but she is failing at it. Who else is practically sorta a Gray Jedi? Who was referenced during the lesson. Anakin's Son, Luke. He saw who his son became. He embraced both sides. Became STRONG. Ashoka wants to be that way, but something is holding her back. She should have not lost that fight against that new sith/fallen Jedi which is just another name of Sith. Her fight with Anakin revealed what he is seeing in her. That she is shutting out the dark side because she is afraid of turning into Vader. That is why he gets mad and says back to square one. Then goes Vader on her. But turns it off. Showing her that he is also embracing the Grayness. She is going to have to do the same to win, and to survive. She needs to let go of what held her back in the Clone Wars. The fear of being consumed by one total side, the Dark Side. But it is ironic, because she is being consumed by the light side. With her detachment. Same thing that failed Vader. The moment He went to Yoda and asked him for help. All Yoda said was "yolo, bitch be dead. Move on". And they wonder why he went all angry and evil.
