U have to be sure your on the latest firmware in order to use the "Interview Mode" to record both the Lav mic and the Main, just LongPress and Hold the Middle Record button and the Front Green lights should flash a couple times indicating its on
@1:52 this is perfect the product comes with wind filter and protective case, can't wait to start podcasting with a wireless mic like this. was looking for a product like this for a long long time! i simply hope the led indicates you when the phone is muted! also the cable should be located on the bottom to be more discreet. and maybe a tripod included cause the small "round" stand looks to small to hold the mic strongly enough.
it can be a wireless micc if in post production you can accept to dedicate time to sync video and audio, recorded separately. on some softwares it's quite easy. but obviously this trick won't work for a live broadcast.
the design looks as much cared as the performances. they reinvented the dictaphone. no button in the middle to press by inadvertance, metal material to hold it better. tula mic has oviously lot of empathy to think its design as a customer and for a customer. congratulations! and it fits in a pocket, which is kinda amazing for this level of performance, competitors are 3x bigger. obviously the compact form factor comes with features compromises, which seems completely well balances, since you can record about 12h aithout charge and with a professionnal sound quality.
Great review, I love my Tula it has replaced a couple of other mics and my old zoom recorder. It’s brilliant for travelling and I don’t mind the few flaws it does have (nothing is perfect). Do you have the latest firmware installed and have you tried the lav mic as a 2 person interview set up? That is what I need to try next and will add more uses to what I can do with it. I like that it will record the mic and the lav separately on two channels. For me remembering which buttons to press to get the set up how I want is the hardest thing, but for I will continue to use it as I think it looks better than most mics out there.

Over modulated at 3:32. Do you have a VU meter in your setup? The lav is having trouble.
