Welcome back to the Foxhole 🦊🤘
You're probably talking about BxMxC, that's the song with rap/trap elements from latest album Metal Galaxy, just like this song with Joakim Brodem.
    🦊🤘👯👯‍♀️
They become very good friends with Sabaton since doing live tour and they were the support band, later Joakim was a special guest during "Meta Taro" live at Dark Night Carnival 2018, last year during an interview Joakim revealed a possible new collaboration with BM, those words and wishes are real now, they're gonna join Sabaton's Europe Tour as a special guests this year, many fans are guessing this could be one of the songs performing together.
Oh MAJINAI is a folk metal song, following the spirit of Meta Taro, is part of their 3rd album Metal Galaxy and following that theme going around the world and gathering metal and rhythms from all over the galaxy, they're telling us a story about a metal paradise where you can't no get in with an adult mindset or else you'll be curse with the spell dancing the "shakariki mosh", that cossack dance style you saw them dancing.
This is a good reason for kitsune mates to hug each other while dancing and drinking a beer 🍻
This was a live compilation from Legend Metal Galaxy 2020 and Budokan 2021, since YuiMetal left the group officially in 2018, the third spot is filled by a backup dancer called "avenger".
We also got recent news about the upcoming new album with all the title tracks revealed, new 3rd single date this January 20, so you already got two singles out if you want to check it out the official video, no copyright blocked issues so far.
Thanks for sharing this and see you next time 🦊🤘🤘

Good first reaction and welcome to the BABYMETAL Galaxy. I think RoadRunner has it right from your description of the BABYMETAL song you heard when they were starting out, it has to be 'iine' (that is ee-neh, not Line) and it was only the second song they released as far back as 2011.
'Iine' starts out with some EDM and a bit of metal mixed in, drops into a short hip hop section then a sudden drop into death metal before returning to the EDM, but with a good double kick drum below it. They were establishing very early on that they were not going to be limited to just one style or genre, they were going to tear up all the rule books and mix whatever they fancied with the metal.
It is a mad song and I can see how it would have put you off ... plus they were only 13 and 12 when they recorded it (they were 12 and 11 when they recorded their first song in 2010).
They don't have any songs quite like 'iine' - but they will constantly surprise you - over 50 songs and each song different to the last.
Have a listen to some of their other songs - RoadRunner's suggestion is a great one - another of their earliest songs, but nothing like 'iine' - plus it was their very first time in the UK (they love the UK and call it their second home) and their first major festival outside of Japan. They were moved to the main stage with just a couple of months notice and, as a 16 and two just turned 15 year olds who spoke hardly a word of English, they had to win over 50-60,000 UK metalheads - most of them didn't have a clue who or what BABYMETAL were.
'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' (you can call it IDZ) was the last of the 5 songs they played that day ... watch right to the end to hear what the crowd thought of them. You may need to add a filter like a transparent logo or something over the video so it won't be blocked.
'Oh! Majinai' was a great collaboration with Joakim. It is a fun song with many different European influences.
Sabaton opened for BABYMETAL at the Dark Night Carnival shows in Japan in October 2018 and Joakim did join them on stage for a bit of one song ('Meta Taro').
BABYMETAL have not been able to tour or play live since 2021 because of the health restrictions and it has been hard to plan anything because the people who would have been building stages, doing lighting and so on were having to get other jobs. Now they are coming back with two shows in Japan later this month and Sabaton have been good enough to invite them to join their UK and Europe tour in April and May as special guests.

Good second first reaction and welcome (back) to BABYMETAL!
Could be that first song is "iine"? ...because it's crazy 😁
This is Su-metal's (the lead singer) favorite track from their third album "Metal Galaxy". And it seems to be a mix of several folk influences: Irish folk song, Finnish polka, something Russian as you mentioned, or even Polish. Many from these countries claim its origin. And probably all of them are right.
One of the coolest things about BABYMETAL is the fact they like to mix any music genre with any metal sub-genre so all their songs are pretty much different from the others.
I saw Sabaton live in 2006 opening for DragonForce and Edguy (my favorite band back then) and now I'm going to see BABYMETAL (my favorite group right now) opening for Sabaton (or as "special guests" as they say) hopefully next May in Berlin.
What about more BABYMETAL? Here is a legendary live performance: "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" (Live at Sonisphere 2014): th-cam.com/video/Ro-_cbfdrYE/w-d-xo.html
    Until next time!

You were not far off when you said a Russian vibe...the base melody here is from an old Finnish Folk Song from back in the 1920's called 'Ievan Polkka' which was made popular again back in the 90's by a Finnish Folk Group called 'Loituma'!! It was also a very Big Internet Meme when it was covered by a character from the Anime 'Bleach' and given the nickname 'Leekspin Girl'!!
Babymetal has done quite a few songs featuring other artists and were featured themselves in a 'Bring Me The Horizon' song called 'Kingslayer' off of a recent EP called "Post Human: Survival Horror". You should check that one out also and delve a bit deeper into Babymetal...they have been turning the Heavy Metal World upside down for the last Decade!! Oh, and 2 new songs just dropped recently from their upcoming new concept album...you have a Lot to check out with Babymetal!!

It wasn't character from Bleach. It was the Vocaloid HatsuneMiku. th-cam.com/video/widZEAJc0QM/w-d-xo.html The associated item for Hatsune Miku is leeks aka green onion. The Miku version has been in television commercials and anime.

@@Jordan-Ramses I'm aware of the Vocaloid cover by Miku that came out in 2007 and obviously as youtube and other soical media grew more people saw that version, but I was referencing the earlier/first Meme that went viral back in 2005 and first posted to TH-cam in Septemberr 2006 and was a flash animation of the character Orihime Inoue from the Anime 'Bleach' spinning a spring onion or 'Leek' and has over 14million views.

Oh!Majinai! Roughly translates to "The Spell". In the song, they have been cursed to sing and dance endlessly and they are trying to find a way to break the spell, hence Moa's "Help me please! Please! Save me please! Please! Please please O please!"

The high-pitched growl was a pre-recorded backing track, but that is Moametal's (long pig-tails) voice. The other dancer is one of the 3 "Avengers" that rotate in and out of Yuimetal's spot, vacated in 2018 due to health reasons. The Avengers are not mic'd and do not sing. They only dance. Moa now sings all of Yui's parts as well as her own.

    • @schneider1112

Is it confirmed to be Moa? Because I very very strongly doubt that, it definitely sounds like a male voice to me, possibly Joakim's because his natural voice is actually fairly bright or it could just be some unknown person.
