0:41 it's so wholesome that Lars went to prepare another tea for the cameraman, considering the bass thing on And Justice... but I guess they got over it after a while and went back to their normal selves.
I am sorry but I can feel the depression and m life syndrome on this footage. The regret of their mistakes made them record this songs. In conclusion they pour their soul out. I love that. They made me feel 40 in my 20
This has became my favorite Metallica song recently, and I've been a fan since The Black album. Does anyone know if there's a longer video of this session?
Man , this song is so powerful! Id love to hear it with the alternative lyrics, also without the accordion, dont mind it but i think it would sound so much “deeper”
This is in the beginning of year 1995. James' Mullet has nothing to do with his accident in 92. He had his normal long hairs till end of 94. Lars cut his hair in 1996, Jason already in 1994 (was the first) and Kirk in 1996/1997.
@Charactereyes WHAT THE FUCK are you saying? That just because they cut they hair they don't write good songs anymore?Damn, this is crazy. They still fucking rock... I know a lot bands that still got a long hair but they don't fucking rock like these guys. if you don't like nothing after black album its okay. But they still fucking rock and you just cant change that.
so why they said goodbye to their hair??? lol damn, they had long hair still when writting reload, so you once more see that long hair doesnt make metallica heavier
@DisposableHeros423 no, a FANBOY is someone who thinks all there music is amazing not matter what. A FANBOY is completely unable to objectively look at metallica nowadays and even think of the possibility that maybe they are way past there prime. A metallica FAN is someone who can make objective critiques about the band and their music. If you like the new stuff, fine, but I completely disagree with you. To say that their new stuff can even hold a candle to the old stuff are words from a FANBOY.
The making of an underrated masterpiece
No one:
Lars 1:05: "Why do we write such long fucking songs?!"
I laughed a lot
Because the others are short
1:25...best clean guitar tone....EVER!
Amen to chorus
1:25
Definitely chorus and not clean.
0:41 it's so wholesome that Lars went to prepare another tea for the cameraman, considering the bass thing on And Justice... but I guess they got over it after a while and went back to their normal selves.
1:57 lol that laugh
lmao
I don't care what people say (I don't care if James himself is ashamed of it) I love the ultra mullet.
This aged well
Agreed he looks like a viking.
The riff at 2:00 is so tight, this song is so chill I fucking love it.
It amazes me how they made the studio version and had the balls to release it.
Im in love with this song. I adore it.
1:26 James' guitar tone is soo great!!
Listen to the demo of the song, its really great, and the whole "load reload demo" album..good stuff
Great video.. I really liked the song Low Man's Lyric, and I had never seen this footage. Thanks for posting.
from 0:38 to 1:00 different words ...
i wish i can hang with these guys in the studio.
god they make me happy
25th anniversary of Reload coming up. I absolutely love this song.
im getting the boxset when it comes out.
Always loved the clean tone on these demos (y).
I love james' beard & hair mostly in this era.
I would love a version of Low man's lyrics with more guitar, like in here.
That’s the demo version or it also goes by “mine eyes”, it’s on TH-cam if you haven’t heard it before.
@@AuldHammer A few days after i wrote that comment I found the demo under the name Mine Eyes. It's so cool, I loved it!
@@AuldHammer thx i am gonna go watch it
The hair omg, I'm glad they got a haircut, haha. I love that song❤❤❤❤
Лучший внешний вид Джеймса
the best look of James
Le meilleur look de James
La mejor apariencia de James
Only James Hetfield can make a mullet look sexy as hell! :)
Wow. This was made before they added the Hurdy Gurdy. It sounds like a completely different song!
The long hair was totally the key to their great power.
*Waits for Lars to pull Kirk and Jason out of the cupboard when needed*
this is better than the final project
Steven Baksh no
"why do we write such long fuckin songs" lmaoooo
I am sorry but I can feel the depression and m life syndrome on this footage. The regret of their mistakes made them record this songs. In conclusion they pour their soul out. I love that. They made me feel 40 in my 20
Great song
This has became my favorite Metallica song recently, and I've been a fan since The Black album. Does anyone know if there's a longer video of this session?
1:05 should’ve asked that when you were making St. Anger
That’s was golden😂
damn, that was one sweeet mullet!
this was like the year or two right before the load album. they hadnt cut their hair yet. im pretty sure that happend when they were done recording.
Where are those other lyrics?!?!
Sounds better than the record.
Man , this song is so powerful! Id love to hear it with the alternative lyrics, also without the accordion, dont mind it but i think it would sound so much “deeper”
Jason was the first to cut his hair
No one mentions how Lars arrange James riff with "FULL CHORDS"
I just love these guys
James with a mullet! :/
This is in the beginning of year 1995. James' Mullet has nothing to do with his accident in 92.

in heaven dude
Emg 60 or 81????that clean channel

I want that heavy version of this song! Any idea where I can get it?
@Charactereyes dont forget when he grew a goatee insted of the mustache...
I heard jason cut his hair due to stage smoke and lights, which 'burned it' or killed the colour, so he just got rid of it :(
long hair?
Thanks for posting. Do you have the demo version of this song?
lol, look at at Lars, he looks hilarious
was it written in the black album period? they both have long hair. i was sure in the load-reload time they did not
This is the load/load time, dumbass. They had long hair, get over it.
@@MrParkerman6 You mean the Load/Reload time period? Dumbass.
1994/95 james hetfield had a mullet
Pssst! It's just the singlular "Lyric" now the plural "Lyrics"
James mustache 🤘
@Charactereyes Metallica's all about music, not the length of their hair.
yes it is
Metallica forever in my live
And you what's funny? Is that the recording on the album doesn't even sound the same!
No shit dumbass, how is that funny? Song wasn't finished so Why would it sound the same?
It's got the same skeleton.
1:57 huhhuh
Man the later lyrics are so much better than the original. You said you'd be mine. Something something something. Really bad.
O dear, a typo, its the end of the world!!!!
Year 95/96?
anyone got the different words?
....and ALL the white head stones, rose like Georgia cotton!
What dvd is this from?
Fancan
That was writing Loadm the wrote lots of reload songs at the same time with Load. it wa supposed t be a doble album blah blah
* "Low Man's Lyric"
MULLET POWER!
so why they said goodbye to their hair??? lol damn, they had long hair still when writting reload, so you once more see that long hair doesnt make metallica heavier
They wrote Load and ReLoad at the same time. It was intended to be one double album.
it's "Low Man's Lyric"-lol-love Metallica by the way
I think it was because lars and james didn't listen to anybody thats why. haha. They make awesome music either way.
🤘🏻🖤🇧🇷
@KevinOfScott cause we are Metallica!
I don't agree... it was their music all the way.. if you like them just because they had long hair than something is wrong, LOL!!
Woo yay sexy ultimullet!
Ay
