DJay 95 Plays: Dodonpachi Saidaioujou (Arcade) Longplay

Hey players, DJay here with a new arcade longplay on another bullet hell shooter, Dodonpachi Saidaioujou.
Description of the game:
Dodonpachi Saidaioujou (Dodonpachi Biggest Death) is a vertical scrolling bullet hell shmup by CAVE released in arcades in April 2012 on the CAVE CV-1000D hardware, being the final arcade game by the company. An updated version called the exA Label in 2020. A home port of the game was made for the XBOX 360 in May 2013 with an extra character named Saya. The game contains arranged songs from Dodonpachi, Dodonpachi Daioujou and Ketsui: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi. This is the second game after Dodonpachi DaiFukkatsu to introduce a second true final boss, Inbachi, Hibachi's evil half. It is the 2nd game after Dodonpachi II: Bee Storm where the game can be cleared once. (Not counting Black Label versions of Daioujou or Daifukkatsu)
In an alternative timeline where characters from the previous games are abandoned, the Elemental Dolls Electronic Laboratory began developing the ultimate Elemental Doll to assist humans, dubbed "Project Haruura." The first 2 units created were Z-001 Hina and Z-002 Saya, who not only lived as twin sisters taught importance of closeness in mankind, but also trained as enemies in combat. When Hina came to a conclusion of solving humanity's problems by eliminating a human, she went berserk, forcing the project to shut down and both Hina and Saya to deactivate. Later, Hina was mysteriously told to save everybody and reactivated, destroying the laboratory and the chamber she was sealed in, disappearing shortly after with her whereabouts unknown to both Donpachi Corps and Saya, who was still active when she was discovered as one of the few survivors. Hina, now taking the name Hibachi, took control of the weaponry computer system, governing from deep within the technologically advanced City Of Ideal, a place where humans live in harmony. Believing that by saving mankind is to have humans achieve a better form, she goes on a warpath to force all humans to convert into machines. Learning from this, the last remaining people revived Donpachi Corps to retaliate against the machines' rampage by destroying Hina/Hibachi and her powerful computer system. The solution was to develop new versions of the 3 space fighters and 3 new Elemental Dolls, Shuri, Hikari and Maria, and send them in the mission to destroy them. They now take off to begin the final battle to end all conflicts.
The gameplay system remains the same, though more reminiscent to that of Dodonpachi Daioujou. There are 3 types of ships to choose from (4 in the XBOX 360 and exA Label versions). Afterwards, there are 3 types to shot types to select:
Shot: Shot becomes stronger
Laser: Laser becomes stronger
Expert: Both weapons become stronger, though the bomb stock is less. (Also causes enemies to become more aggressive).
Players must then progress through 5 stages where they must destroy enemy targets. Hidden throughout every stage, players must collect bee medals to increase the score. The Hyper system from Daioujou returns, now with a new Hyper Recharge allowing players to refill the guage by damaging enemies or collecting medals, and reaching high levels as long as the Hyper is not active. Using it allows for higher hit bonuses, although it causes the rank system to increase and make enemies more aggressive, but decreases if the player uses bombs with an active Hyper or by dying. To access the true ending, players must face 1 of 2 true final bosses once they meet the following conditions after fighting Koryu:
Hibachi: Collect all bee medals in at least 3 stages. 1 death or less is allowed.
Inbachi: Collect all bee medals in every stage without dying or using a bomb. Rank 30 (15 for Expert) and a chain of 15 000 hits (10 000 for Expert) is required.
