Drone Tour: Our Lady of the Wayside & Scarsdale Neighborhood, Arlington Heights, IL

Experience a breathtaking aerial tour of Arlington Heights, IL, starting with a drone lift-off from Pioneer Park, one of my favorite childhood hangouts. From there, the drone soars over Our Lady of the Wayside Church and School, a vibrant center of Catholic faith and education established in 1952.
Located in the heart of Arlington Heights, this beloved parish has played a pivotal role in the spiritual and educational development of the community.
As we fly over the church and school, you’ll witness the beautiful grounds that serve hundreds of parish families and students today. The drone then turns around at Cronin Park, another cherished place from my youth.
In the second part of the video, we head over to the historic Scarsdale neighborhood, where I grew up on Bristol Lane. The drone launches from Dryden Park and glides along Bristol Lane, showcasing the unique character of the 1920s-era homes and tree-lined streets.
At the heart of the neighborhood, the drone reaches the distinctive Seven Corners intersection before turning back. This area of Arlington Heights reflects the suburb’s growth in the early 20th century and is known for its charming architecture and tight-knit community.
