Brian if you are interested in hunting the river with DF Digger and me on Friday. We are hitting the river about 9:30. Let me know if you are coming and I will give you directions.
@@BrianClunie We didn't end up hunting today. Dennis's back has been out. We will try again next week, Brian. I will keep in touch. You can text me anything three9Nine42onezero
I like your analogy about how when u sent your pin pointer into Garret it was like sending your pet to the vet 🤣 I can completely relate. Hopefully, drying out it out helps in my case. Thanks for the helpful tips
I have two Garrett pinpointers and I like to soak them after muddy hunts. One of mine leaked during a bath and sounded just like your did. I took mine apart and dried it with a hair dryer and so far it works like it should!
Thanks for the video on disassembly/assembly. Sure wish you would have flipped the circuit board over though so I could see where my broken capacitor goes on the other side.
I am still trying to figure out this pin pointer ..mine just makes a horrible load noise and it stays on even if there is no metal close to it..I do not know if it is normal a low battery warning or emi..No clue..

I have to drive to Togus on Friday; are you guys doing anything next week?
@@BrianClunie We might be, we don't usually plan that far ahead.
I could have made it today, I thought I was getting a root canal done today. Togus just told me I needed a root canal!

What was the damage and how much was the repair?
It was just Water damage, $60 and I’m pretty sure they sent a new one back.
Very interesting procedure. 🙂
Very simple!
