This is another video of "Alex Solo on Adventure" : Bangkok Edition. Hehehe....Here, he brings you all the way to Pratunam in Thailand - the heart of the city where it never sleeps.
There will be a full hotel tour of The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, which includes a room tour & of course...the breakfast buffet. You will also get to see what's around the hotel's vicinity, what's there to eat (street /local food) and things you can do (massages & SHOPPING!!!)
Count yourself lucky too, cause in this video, Alex was very specific in detailing A LOT of routes for you to take when moving around, where to find reputable money changers, BEST places to shop, shop, SHOP (LOL - finger pointed to myself!)..... and helpful tips to survive in Bangkok - all from his personal encounters & experiences.

May I suggest that you use Agoda. Then under location type in : Pratunam. A whole list of hotels ranging from 5 star to nice modern boutique ones can be found there. Do click on the map for each hotel & see which one is right for you. Do also read all the reviews & comments from Guests who have stayed there before. They must have given me a “stand by” room… hahaha. But no biggie… fridge was in the room after first day of house keeping.
I believe there is a fridge in the room. Not situated near the entrance. It's at the middle cabinetry near the TV. Odd place to put it. Was surprised when I saw it not near the entrance. Lobby also a bit dim but it's ok. Overall it's a good hotel. :)

Hi, May I check if the floor is carpet because it’s a newly renovated room? The one I used to visit was carpet floor, but looking for non-carpet as I’ll be bringing a toddler
Hi Jane! The room i stayed in was tiles + laminated wood flooring. (North Wing) You might want to double check with the hotel on that matter before your stay there. Have a good holiday :)♥️

Is there a place on the roof of Berkeley to see the King Power Mahanakon building? If not, where is the best place to see and photograph this beautiful building?
I just googled about that building & it’s located at Silom/ Bangrak area. There are a couple of hotels near it like : Bangkok Marriot, Banyan Tree etc… maybe try google to find out if any of these bulidings have a rooftop bar? Sorry if I can’t be of much help about this topic…

Hi.. may i know what is the nearest BTS from this hotel? ..and any idea how long it take to walk to the BTS station?
Hi! I think nearest to the hotel is Ratchaprarop ( maybe a 15 - 20 minute walk? ) The hotel offers free drop-off to other near BTS stations too like Chidlom & Siam stations as mentioned in the start ( hotel lobby ) of the video. There is no BTS station that is like super near by this hotel unfortunately if going on foot…Hope this helps🙏🏻
从 Pratunam 到 MBK 你还坐嘟嘟车去？ 你可以走空中步道 去啦（Skywalk），不是很远啊，经过很多有趣的地点，可以拍照更有趣的片段。
从水门市场 (Pratunam) 上空中步道 (Skywalk) 走经过 Big C 和 Central World，走到四面佛拐角的尽头，然后右转并一直走。 经过暹罗百丽宫（Siam Paragon）， Siam Center， 就到了 MBK。 如果一直走不停，比坐车还要快啊帅哥。省钱又更有趣。

Yes, I know MBK is walkable from the hotel.
It’s at the other end of the Skywalk near the National Stadium BTS station.
1) I was already tired from walking so much during my stay there
2) I haven’t sat in a tuktuk for a very long time, so was itching to ride in one :)
But will definitely be going back around that area with my family for another holiday hopefully soon… so that we can explore more together ♥️

The price I paid durimg my stay there is in my video (during the room tour). You may pause to read. However, room prices vary according to season & availability. So I suggest you visit their website for the price on your date of choice. Hotel’s website is linked in the desciption box below video.
This hotel is not in BTS line right?
No it’s not. But they do offer timed shuttle van drop-offs to some nearest BTS stations… like BTS Chidlom & BTS Siam
@@LXChng the hotel and the surrounding area look interesting but not near to the BTS line could be a deal breaker especially when travelling with kids 😔
@@greenapple1069 yes totally understand how you feel 😅 Next trip i will bring my 2 kids & spend maybe a week there & split our areas accordingly. Eg: 3 nights at pratunam, 2 nights near icon siam & maybe another 2 at chatuchak area. Bangkok has too much good food & shopping! Hahhaa! Can’t finish it within 3-4 nights…. @@LXChng keep changing the hotels can be troublesome and time consuming. Better stay at one hotel to maximize the time. Our favourite location is always near terminal21 Sukhumvit. Super convenient with intersection of 2 train lines (bts & metro). Thanks for your feedback 😊😊

5 star hotel without fridge is NOT VALUE FOR MONEY. I will definitely demand for half the price back I am paying. Staying in comfort is very important
