    I think you are amazing! I really appreciate the attention to details in your videos AND keeping them real! Fancy schmancy super editing TH-cam “How To” videos aren’t much help when all the little problems of real life re-enactment come into play. In other words, thank you. Keep up the good work. • @SwiftCreekCustoms
      @SwiftCreekCustoms  ปีที่แล้ว

      What program are you printing from?
      Are you printing on the correct side of the DTV?
      How does it look when printed on regular paper? Are the colors dull?
      What are you pressing it with? A heat press or a something else?
      Have you checked the temperature on the press?
      Are you using EasyMask to transfer the image? Is there ink left on the Easy Mask?
      Are you waiting 24 hours after printing to press?
      It could be any of those items and you'd have start testing to start ruling them out.

    Best video on the new product! I appreciate the helpful tips and examples illustrated. I also own a Silhouette 4. Question, can u use regular transfer paper with this product?

    • @SwiftCreekCustoms
      @SwiftCreekCustoms  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Siser is recommending the TTD Easy Mask low tack so it does not take ink off the print. Others are trying other tacks and brands, but I have not. I tend to stick to the manufacturers recommendations, especially when referring a product. This helps in narrowing down issues if you do run into them and also in if you would contact the company for help on any issues.
      The transfer mask has to be heat safe transfer or it could melt to your garment.

    • @mellanese
      @mellanese 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SwiftCreekCustoms I can understand the recommendation, give the product the best opportunity to work properly this way. If I were to substitute, I would try my heat transfer tape but will check and see if others had any success since the sheets are too pricey to waste.

      @@mellanese I have done everything I know to make the ttd mask work. I waited 3 days, I spent hours over a 5 day period and never got it to work. I have ordered a different brand suggested by another creator who also struggled with the siser ttd mask.

    • @mellanese
      @mellanese 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@crystalfarmer4074 I hope the new brand works for you. I've seen where one piece transfers are the simplest but some designs are in multiple pieces. Pls come back and let us know the results and name of the brand if it works. My DTV order comes I'm today. I did not order the masks, I honestly feel one piece should be included in the order as they are pricey.

    I have been using Avery printable vinyl and I really really like it someone done a study on it on TH-cam and compare it to several other printable vinyl‘s and this one stood out the most I was wondering is this DTV the same process?

    • @SwiftCreekCustoms
      @SwiftCreekCustoms  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      EasyColor DTV is a brand new product and is vinyl, not heat transfer paper like Avery and other brands. Yes, the process is the same, it's just the material is different.

    • @SwiftCreekCustoms
      @SwiftCreekCustoms  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is just like cutting a design out of HTV or adhesive vinyl. Whatever font you can cut easily with those, could be cut on this. It is actual heat transfer vinyl, pretty much the same as Siser Easyweed, just 10 microns thicker.
      I would recommend using Print Bleed as well.

    Some of the colored prints still look so flat and lacking vibrancy, still almost paper like to me. Do you notice a big difference between the printable vinyl and a screen print image, in terms of color quality?

    • @SwiftCreekCustoms
      @SwiftCreekCustoms  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You printer is a variable in it as well. And if you are comparing to a screen print, that completely different and would have variable as well such as where you order, what it's printed on, etc.
      I do not noticed print quality differences in my colors. I am using a Canon to print all of mine. I think it's a great option for home printing.

      Color Print Easy is made for an eco solvent printer, which is quite a bit more expensive than just a home printer. It cannot be printed on by an inkjet printer.

    • @SwiftCreekCustoms
      @SwiftCreekCustoms  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have a good design, I think you could. It cuts just like Siser Easyweed HTV. However, something to keep in mind is that the backing is not sticky on the DTV, so if the pieces move, they will be lost.

      It will ultimately depend on the design and your cut settings cam make a difference too.
      Also make sure once it's on the mask, do not set it on a warm surface or it will curl off the mask.
