So glad to see you have your home there now .. Now to fix it again so you can move in !! You are working so hard to build a life out of a patch of land. And With your little woman and God by your side you are going to go far !! Keep the faith and good work up my brother !!!!!
That's a real bummer about the 5th wheel, I just watched your earlier rebuild video, and that vision was still fresh in my mind. My heart sank when I seen the damage to the interior knowing what you put into it. I know that you'll fix it better than before, keep you head up and your eyes on the prize.
Congratulation's Rick! Home sweet home Classic Truck Ranch back in service. Not an easy thing to go through but well done. Keep up the great video`s . I am Happy to see its all working well for you two out there and to see it all coming together as one it brings a big smile to my face to see this all and to have such luck to of been able to watch each of your video`s as it has come along
God Bless you both!!! I am just sick on what happened to the 5th wheel. All the hard work you put into that I loved the way it turned out. And sorry Rick I have to agree with Jamie on the forgetting where you put things LOL after all right off the bat in this new video you mentioned you forgot to get your keys and locked them in a container. LOL Anyway so happy you made it home with the trailer and did not get arrested for no tail lights!! Keep the Faith!!! God Bless you both!!!
Rick &Jamie sorry about the fifth wheel. Can't wait to see what direction you go well renovating the fifth wheel. The old mule #1 did a good job pulling you fifth wheel home. Rick&Jamie good job recommissioning the old mule #1. The engine sounded awesome and it sounded healthy. On the headache rack on the back of the old mule #1 you could mount work down lights for working at night or for backing up to the fifth wheel at night.
Your videos could be an anger management class by themselves. I continue to be blown away by what you two go thru and do it with a good attitude. Enjoy the videos.
Grandmas are great. My dad's parents came through Ellis Island too hey maybe they met there and shared some recipes. Grandma was a great cook loved her borscht soup, I making myself hungry.
the fift is finaly on site woo hoo i am sure you will have any water damage fixed up pronto it is a big old girl for sure and the perfect addition to the ct ranch a roof over the container and the fift wheel with the water drainage collected into a water tank for drinking water would top it all right off all the best from big pete
+Solo Sus Scrofa Hey .....yer okay too my Friend. There IS a reason flowing water was one of my requirements on our prospective-property list....just a hint for you...."The Powerboat" is going to be an invention that will either get me killed or rich and famous...Oh my goodness...what if everyone in the world who lives on a river or stream could generate more power than they consume? Nuff said. Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
Classic Trailer Rescue with Rick McGyver! Ha Ha. Seriously though we sold our 1959 26ft Yellowstone two years ago after having it for ten years and it was starting to leak from a bad winter outside. I was happy to break even. Glad all went safely well and you got it to the property......Lee G.
Hope all continues to go well for you and Jamie, you guys are an awesome team. Any hurdle that has presented itself, you guys conquer it together. That's awesome and you two are amazing people. Can not wait to see your next video. Take care and God bless.
Same situation different circumstances, Man We have done the same. Carved 3 acres out of 46 acres of bush and did 12 years off grid in a cabin with no running water. Can't appreciate water till you have to hand haul it! Cheers and Peace out
Hi Rick and Jamie, Barry here from the UK, glad to see you have got the 5th wheel sited at the CTR, shame about the new water damage but hey it's repairable, you did it once before so the knowledge gained from that will make the second time around a whole lot easier and with superwoman Jamie on hand, well you can almost put your feet up and leave it all to her ha ha. She is awesome my friend. So let me talk about this a little more, don't let yourself get sidetracked you have a tendency to do this a quite a bit my friend LOL, I'm not trying to criticize or chastise you Rick I just want you to focus and get in perspective witch is the more important tasks to get done, for instance I would not bother to remove the slide out lounge part, so you can make some alterations to make the mobile home bigger, just repair again what is already there and make it habitable, this I feel would be the quickest option anyway, I believe you said the bedroom and it's slide out was ok so no problems there, you also said in an earlier video that you intended to incorporate the container placed next door to extend your living quarters so I have to ask how much more room do you need, for what is going to be temporary accommodation for you and Jamie and afterwards for guest use. The idea of using the container is one of your better idea's as it's ready built and now in position, it just needs joining up to the mobile home and finishing off inside with lighting, heating, insulation, ect, (maybe partitions, some windows but these are not necessary), all of this container work can be done after you have first moved into the repaired mobile home, see what I mean now about not getting sidetracked to much keep it as simple as you can, someone else on here suggested erecting a roof/cover over the top to protect the mobile home from the elements this is worth doing but would be time consuming at the moment, after all this is only supposed to be temporary till your new home is built and thereafter used as guest accommodation, again the roof/cover can be completed at a later date. I've rambled on a bit long here but I hope it will be of some help to you. Best wishes as always Barry
Hi Rick and Jamie, Nice to see ya. Bailing wire, gorilla tape, super glue....my place is almost made of it. The Challenges just keep on a commin, stay strong. I got an idea, how about a Jamie's greatest hits video, with her cute songs, they are great! As the work goes on and on, You both stay safe, well, happy and Keep the positive vibe going....See you next time, God Bless.
+Richard Sigo My Mom is awesome. To everything there is a season. You know we will make some chicken salad out of this my Brother. Thank you and Thanks Again Fer Watchin'. -Rick
P.S. I just wanted to add, Many people would crumble under all of the problems and challenges that you guys have faced. You walk when most would crawl, shows me how strong you are.
I watched this on 6\6\2017. I don't think Jamie could ever have a bad hair day. That was a lot of SUV to pull with that chevy, looked like a 3\4 ton. Usually you see a dully, but looks like it did the job great. I love that fact that it's standard shift with a granny gear. I have a 97 Jeep Cherokee automatic HD, and when I need a granny gear I just put the 4x4 selector in low range. I often use low range to plow snow, it keep the engine cooler even thought it will push snow in high range. Since I wanted a heavy duty jeep with a towing package, I had to get the automatic transmission which also came with the Dana rears, and all oil coolers, the hitch, and is geared lower for lousy fuel millage. The manual shift model is considered light duty, no tow package was offered or the lower gearing, or the better axles. I do miss driving manual shift, but I'm glad to have the heavy duty version.
I AM SURE HAPPY THAT YOU GOT YOUR TRAILER MOVED ON TO YOUR PROPERTY, I WATCHED THIS IN 202O AND IN 2016 WHERE I LIVE FLOODED REAL BAD, I LIVE IN LOUISIANA TOO MUCH RAIN HERE MUCH OF THE TIME. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS.
i have been watching your videos and you guys are great, im glad that god gives you the strength to, get you guys to where you want to go in life, im from the uk and i wish you all the best with your lifes, and i have seen the way you both struggle with every obstacle, that comes in your path, but you guys still have a smile on your face, and keep up the good work
wow guys one step forward two steps back seems like most things are like pulling teeth but you guys just keep plugging along. gosh it seems like the is all up hill. hopefully soon you ll see the top! god bless you and keep trucking all the hard work will pay in time
Nothing better then and old square body Chevy when work needs to be done. Glad to see that the camper is out there Rick, can't wait to see more videos.
thats awesome Rick you guys are there now just some fixin on the ol homestead and its all good and Jamie is too funny with her lil songs the way she comes up with her own lil tunes is great lol happy trails guys glad your almost done with makin this your new home
+Derek Bratzke She just pops out the songs spontaneously. You never know what's going to fall out of Jamie's neck. One of the reasons I love her so much. Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
Hey Rick & Jamie Glad to see your temp home is finally at ctr. I need a favor. I have found My girl of my dreams and there are some hurdles to jump through. We could Use yours and any one else who prays to give us strength and ask god to take the wheel for us. She is over in the Philippines and would like to come here. but neither one of us can afford that . So Please pray for us.Thank you, one and all.
+Classic Truck Rescue Prayers comin from the east coast. We pray for a good outcome and a quick solution and we ask for continued healing for Scott in Jesus name we pray. And everybody said,
UK Barry & Flo here again, Can't wait for next video. Rick & Jamie, I've just realised that there is a short time lapse from when the videos are put up on You Tube from when they were actually taken, am I thick or what! So by the time my comments/advice arrive to you it may be already too late as you may have already made progress on the problem. So I hope I'm getting in early enough to say I'm thinking about one of your priorities yet to do, namely the new road you have to put across the paddock, although after the much needed repairs to pumpkin are done I think that due to the massive volume of first the top soil then sub soil to be removed to get a good founding and the job done right will be to much even for this fearless little guy, because I'm not sure but I think you said time is a big factor to have it ready for the electric and water company's. If you are planning on doing it yourself which I can perfectly understand, as to get a contractor in to do the road for you would be a huge expense to you, can I suggest you hire some thing a little bigger like a JCB or a small caterpillar to dig out the road only, after that's done, with you, pumpkin, bully bullfrog, waiting in the wings and chomping at the bit not forgetting trucker chick Jamie you will have no problem in completing the task. By the way keep all the soils removed but keep them separate as it will be useful later. Best wishes as all ways Barry & Flo
Rick just a suggestion! from a guy that calls himself The RV Doctor 20 years experience hear! take that slideout out of the 5th wheel to rebuild it! Don't expect it the slide out to be built square! the hole its in may not be!!! lol cut a hole in the side of the container makes more room in the 5th wheel!!!! get them slideout side walls dried out! if you don't they will freeze in the winter and come spring they will delaminate! water expands when it freezes!
+aaron schoessow Thank you Aaron. I think even "The RV Doctor" will be pleased when you see what I've done with my old Alpha in the next CTR video. Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
Well Rick sometimes life gets in are way and somethings get left undone . But u learned a lot from the first time you refurbished the rv so you should be able to fix it with that experience you gained geter done
I've been watchin' your videos for awhile. Love what yer doin'. I hope all is well with you guys and the lapse in videos is just an internet thing. Bringing in utilities is an expensive proposition. Keep the faith. I'm with you both.
Glad everything worked out for you and your camper is home!!! I cant wait to see what you have planned for your set up of your container and 5th wheel on your site. Also a big congrats is in order on your newest addition to your fleet, I thought that was a pretty cool old truck!
+s smith Well...I ran your comment by her and she said that if she had her own channel she couldn't be as happy as she is on my channel. So...I guess we'll put her on camera some more. Thank you and Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
Hey Rick Glad to see this video.I was starting to get a lil worried...lol. But I just thought yous were taking a long needed brake cuz of all the work and been so busy.I am Glad to see you too sill doing so well and now finally getting your 5th wheel home .
Hi i`m from Norway, and i simply love the work you guys are doing to the CTR. Keep up the good work and keep the vids coming. I wich you the best. Karl.
Hi Rick & Jamie . I can feel the excitement about having the fifth wheel in place . almost feels like going on a camping trip to me . move the portajohn closer (down wind of course) and your all set ! . Love the lay of your property . I did want to ask you . have you talked to any of your neighbors concerning the stream over flowing its bank ? and when ? seems really really important to me . Thanks for sharing guy's . Ray in Pa.
Good job well done! Here in Ontario Canada I would never have gotten away with hauling a trailer down the road without operational lights! The OPP woulda stopped me and made me fix it on the side of the road and charged me an additional 2 or 3 hundred to boot!
+Ted Aitchison Also, the day after we got the fifth wheel out to the property, I discovered that the Mule had a plug in the bed for the lights...ugh..-Rick
+robert miller Me too. Thanks Robert and Thanks Again Fer watchin'. I'll get it whipped back into shape. Already built a huge tent over it and have it all dried out. -Rick
+Classic Truck Rescue Are you peeps OK?. Haven't heard from you - All in A while. Hope all is well. Give Annabella An extra pet for me !. Thank You - PS Your not showin we're not watchin !!. You may have something in the works as I type, Who knows.
Once again it seems life has handed you both your fair share of lemons. And may I say as usual you make Lemonade. Hope you know that in doing so you help many of us carry on with are own issues Me included. Keep up the good work
Love to see how you two seem to always enjoy the good things in the not so good situations! ;) That's the spirit. I love your channel, keep it up... Best regards.
it's been awhile since your last video upload! hope all is going OK for you guys! seen you elsewhere, so we know your still alive! we're praying for you guys!!! you'll need it with that camper!
By Golly Rick & Jamie; Couldn't think of a better way 2 start my mornin that watching the Ole Home Getting Hauled 2 the New Site ! Glad she's finally there 4 ya's ! Jamie's Don't need a hat 2 cover up them Purdy Hairs, Even on a bad hair day she's still lot's cuter than U Rick ha Ha Just funn'n ya ! Glad we tagged along 4 'nuther Hilarious Epidode of Jamie Got 'Er Dun ! Tell Maw & Paw we say Howdy From The Maritimes In Canada.ATB Terry God Bless
Most live-in trailer owners build a roof over their trailer at some point. Otherwise you live on the roof with a caulk gun. I have been chasing a leak over the head for 16 months. Since you are thinking about making some major mods at the slide, just go ahead and build a roof over your trailer. Make sure you leave room above to service your a/c. What will you do with the trailer and attachments after you build the tree home? Think about building a structure to park it under and repair it. Then sell it when finished and close in the barn. Just ideas.
+Brad Taylor Just finished building a tent over the whole thing Brad. "Taj-Ma-Tent"....its a big 'un. We're on the same page, Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
Very nice guys rock you would be better off putting your 5th wheel between the containers and putting a false roof over it just a suggestion keep any heat or weather out mate 👍
+Stephen Smitson Yup...kind of proud of the Old Mule...He did get the job done. Bringing another old truck back into service in CTR 23. Thanks Stephen...Take a new picture with a smile...Life does get better my Friend. Not making light of your loss..but the best thing you can do is live life to its fullest...Our predecessors are watching. Thanks Fer Watchin'. You are not alone. -Rick
Congrats your finally home. What's an extra wk.lol Just kidding. Glad things worked out with the Nabors. I wasn't that lucky. We only have 1 a/c and they still want to argue property lines. I just let it be and let the Lord deal with it.
Hi guys. I can see what you meant by some trouble when picking the trailer up. Bloody heck mate, it enough to do your head in. At the moment those containers seem more liveable than that poor trailer is. When does it ever stop. You might say it's your own fault, but there's some rotten luck there too. Well I hope it stays dry for you to repair that slide-out again. I don't think you should take it of altogether, you might want to use the trailer later-on . All the best mate, see you later.
+Marcel Timmers I'm making some chicken salad right now Marcel...I won't let you down buddy. You've been watching too long for me to leave you hanging with an incompleted mission. Thanks Again Fer Watchin'. -Rick
Onwards and upwards, and other sayings remain unuttered. You must go forward, as there is no way back. It's just that simple mate, but you do! I think, once you start selling again, all this crap will soon be forgotten, and you will have a fantastic life
+Daniel Natola Yeah..I was trying to escape a million-dollar house on a river....My divorce from that house was final last month. Kind of Ironic. I left her and that house to move into a trailer and now I'm moving that same trailer onto ten-times the property I left.....God is awesome!. Thank you and Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
thank the lord thought I was the only one had to rebuild things to use them after already rebuilding it because life called me away to do 5-12 hour shifts a week and a 4 hour shift on day 6 for a year or 2
+Harry Ireland We just finished building "The Taj-ma-tent" over it Harry. I just figured the best thing was to stop water from coming in and get it dried out before starting the repairs. Thank you and Thanks Again Fer Watchin'. -Rick
+sammy fox Thank you...its getting better everyday. the next CTR will cover a lot of progress and The Alpha will be looking much better. Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
Right on You two moving right along there ,Oh I just about freaked it looked like you pushed 2 planks into the front of the trailer going thru the gate at your mom's all you could hear was wood breaking ,Did it hurt anything ?
Not saying that your neighbor is going to try and claim your land for himself BUT I got this off a website dealing with boundry disputes. Apparently, now that you know your neighbor is on your property he can at some point file to claim it, even if you do trade off the use of THEIR land. Not that it's a big deal, BUT this is what the lawyer advised. Grant written permission to use your land. (and in your case Rick get permission to use his) This maneuver can actually ward off a claim for prescriptive easement or adverse possession; because perfecting either of these claims requires showing that the use was open and hostile (without permission). If you like this neighbor but may not like those who follow, you might grant permission only as long as that neighbor owns the property. This keeps you safe in the future. You just never know who or when one of your neighbors will move away or pass away suddenly.
I'm watching the way your pulling in that slideout and I'm scared!!! lol Please after you mess it up! lol friend me on Facebook Rick and I'll see what info I can offer you on how to fix the boo boo! lol! hold your breath with this one Jamie! lol
One step closer to having a place to sleep on the New CTR AWESOME! Hope your friend that was going to help move your 5th wheel ( we call them Caravans down under ) is better?
+Bill Smiff He seems to be doing a bit better from what I hear. Thank you. I built a huge tent over the fifth wheel and got it all dried out again. Its looking much better. Thanks Fer Watchin' Bill. -Rick
You very Welcome Rick love watching you and Jamie

-Rick
Awesome. You guys put me in a great mood! Jamie is so funny!
.
+motorhead Glad to hear it my friend. She's a riot.
Jamie should either do Her own channel or be on camera more ...She's naturally funny and Her tiny tunes are awesome

Neeeew York is where I'd rather stay.
Actually a little south of there.
Upstate New York does have some beautiful country.
Ray in Pa.
I would have been worried about you guys by now if I did not see you on Jeff's channel. Hope things are going good I know you're swamped. God bless!
hope all is well with you have not got a new video from you lately .. God bless and keep up the good work
Good job well done! Here in Ontario Canada I would never have gotten away with hauling a trailer down the road without operational lights! The OPP woulda stopped me and made me fix it on the side of the road and charged me an additional 2 or 3 hundred to boot!
+Ted Aitchison God Bless America. Thanks Fer Watchin' Ted. -Rick
+Ted Aitchison Also, the day after we got the fifth wheel out to the property, I discovered that the Mule had a plug in the bed for the lights...ugh..-Rick
+Classic Truck Rescue
Ain't hindsight great?
+Ted Aitchison Only when we learn from it my Friend. Thanks -Rick

I like that old truck.

I once read that if you don't quack when ducks are about you've already started to die inside. You're still ok by the sounds of it.
+Steve McLean Quaaak-wak-wak.waaack. Yup...I'm just fine. LOL. Thanks Steve and Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick

I get a kick out of the big foot sightings, I hope to see more sightings in the future
at 30:06 When those 2x10 sprung up and hit the front of the 5th wheel , my heart sank! I am so glad it did not rip a big whole in there.
+robert miller Me too. Thanks Robert and Thanks Again Fer watchin'. I'll get it whipped back into shape. Already built a huge tent over it and have it all dried out. -Rick

-Rick
I like it. Taj-Ma-Tent. For your queen no doubt.
+Brad Taylor No Doubt...
Very nice guys rock you would be better off putting your 5th wheel between the containers and putting a false roof over it just a suggestion keep any heat or weather out mate 👍
+luke reynolds We're almost on the same page Luke. Watch CTR 23. Peace-Out and Thanks Again Fer Watchin'. -Rick
awsome for u guys..
you should have kidnapped the ducks , save the pool , and they would have made a nice addition to the farm lol
Keep up the videos I love em
Doesn't look bad at all, and the mule did a good job!
-Rick
Hi Rick I hope you are doing good.&your to.
Congrats your finally home. What's an extra wk.lol Just kidding. Glad things worked out with the Nabors. I wasn't that lucky. We only have 1 a/c and they still want to argue property lines. I just let it be and let the Lord deal with it.
New subscriber, just watch elderly irons video of bear, or yogi bear now. Looking forward to more vids
I think, once you start selling again, all this crap will soon be forgotten, and you will have a fantastic life
Cool vid bro although such a shame you will have to do so much work on the 5th wheel though. Mule did a geat job.
you made that ford look good by put on a pace of bow tie job rick
Cool
Can't wait to see video of Yogi Bear!
Where is the latest episode?! I'm looking for it daily.

+richard Lees Always. No matter what life throws at you....gott'a just do what you gott'a do to get the next thing done. Thank you Richard. -Rick
I remember the video when you where buying the 5 wheeler and fixing it up
+Daniel Natola Yeah..I was trying to escape a million-dollar house on a river....My divorce from that house was final last month. Kind of Ironic. I left her and that house to move into a trailer and now I'm moving that same trailer onto ten-times the property I left.....God is awesome!. Thank you and Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
thank the lord thought I was the only one had to rebuild things to use them after already rebuilding it because life called me away to do 5-12 hour shifts a week and a 4 hour shift on day 6 for a year or 2
+charles shaw it happens my friend. Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
Awesome video! Hope you got the waterdamage fixed. Is it habitable at the moment?
+Harry Ireland We just finished building "The Taj-ma-tent" over it Harry. I just figured the best thing was to stop water from coming in and get it dried out before starting the repairs. Thank you and Thanks Again Fer Watchin'. -Rick
Atta boy
you guys have a nice trailer
+sammy fox Thank you...its getting better everyday. the next CTR will cover a lot of progress and The Alpha will be looking much better. Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
Right on You two moving right along there ,Oh I just about freaked it looked like you pushed 2 planks into the front of the trailer going thru the gate at your mom's all you could hear was wood breaking ,Did it hurt anything ?
+Garnett M. My pride...that's about it. Thanks Fer watchin'. -Rick
+Classic Truck Rescue I figured something might have .
You just never know who or when one of your neighbors will move away or pass away suddenly.
got the job done. knoy
Who gets better fuel mileage, Homer or Old Mule?
+BarnyardEngineering Homer by far. Trust me, the Old Mule is a gas hog. Jamie calls Him Mule-Hog..Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
