Accident kills more than 1000 people in Ghana every year, 85 percent of children born in Ghana do not belong to the fathers, adultery and fornication is al over every face in Ghana. why don't you spend time in fighting all these immoralities with your moral combat forces. Instead of infringing on some ones rights. How many loss of lives in Ghana has ever been directly refer to gays and lesbians.

@@nanaosei-bonsu959It hasn't killed anyone so there's no harm in it right? Well prostitution does not kill people but it is a crime because it poses serious public health risks, galamsey does not kill but it is a crime because it destroys our water bodies and vegetation. Child trafficking and child pornography does not kill people but it is crime because it destroys the future of the children involved. Unless you want to tell us that LGBQ+ does not have adverse societal implications. And that will be false because if you heard the report Hon. Sam George cited, queer people are 400% more likely to commit suicide than heterosexuals. By your name Osei, I know you're a male and I must address you as a he. But LGBTQ+ proponents say that I should wait for you to tell me your gender and your pronouns before I can tell if you're male or female. Maybe because you're old enough you can tell how silly this is but children cannot, and they are the most vulnerable victims of this practice and ideology being pushed. And if you listen to Hon. Sam George, gayism is already an offense per Ghana’s constitution. However, lesbianism was not captured in that clause. So this bill is extremely necessary and timely. The fact that a crime does not kill people doesn't make it right or neutral. Once it poses threats to people there must be laws to curtail it

The Bible addresses homosexuality in several passages, primarily in the Old Testament book of Leviticus and the New Testament writings of Paul in Romans, Corinthians, and Timothy. In Leviticus 18:22 (NIV), it states: “Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.” Similarly, Leviticus 20:13 (NIV) says: “If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable.”
In the New Testament, passages such as Romans 1:26-27 (NIV) and 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NIV) also mention homosexuality as contrary to God’s design for human sexuality.
It’s important to note that interpretations of these passages vary among different Christian denominations and individuals, and there are differing perspectives on how to understand and apply these teachings in the modern context. Some Christians interpret these passages as condemning all forms of homosexual activity, while others interpret them differently, considering factors such as cultural context, historical context, and the broader themes of love, compassion, and inclusion found throughout the Bible.
