I don’t think any vermeil bracelet can last 2 years on my wrist straight. It went into a hot tub I showered in it every time and worked out with it a bunch as well as other vigorous activities.

If vermeil doesn't last more than 15 years with more than normal wear then what would be the point. Save your money and buy stainless steel or solid silver or gold. I've had plated pieces for 5 years and more. I know it's unrealistic for people to do a five or 10-year update that's why I was interested in what it would look like after 2 years. True gold vermeil or gold filled should last a lifetime even with very regular wear.

@Antonio Grimes I agree I have gold plated jewelry with no wear after 20 years. I also almost never clean it. I have some rhodium-plated silver that never tarnishes again I also never clean it. I can't speak to the quality of Harlem bling but you get what you pay for and have to keep your expectations accordingly. I suspect a lot of people clean the s*** out of their jewelry and ruin it after awhile. And most companies are not selling real gold Vermeil or not with anything thicker then a normal plating.

I have some shop gld plated piece that are in perfect condition they were bought in 2018 but they are not for daily wear and I never showered in those then yes vermeil can last a long time but not when you abuse it

I mean stainless steel is a no go for me for just the normal chains colors to dark and it’s just eh silver is a lot better and vermeil is good. Never had gold filled if you know any good websites! Let me know

Yes it’ll tarnish and fade that’s just how it goes after some time depending on how you take care of it will determine how long that takes, tarnishing is literally a 10 second fix u just get a silver jewelry rag for like $5 and wipe it off
