  • In this video, we solve a system of differential equations analytically through the means of linearization, and proceed to discuss the implications of the solution.
    For the best viewing experience, make sure to watch in full-screen and 4K (2160p) resolution.

    The best Lagrangian video series I have seen.

    these series on lagrangian mechanics are seriously the best videos on lagrangian mechanics I have ever seen! Funnily enough I live about 800 meters away from where Lagrange used to live here in Turin

    Such a satisfying payoff to visualize the eigendecomposition at the end!

    Came from the peer review!
    I think this is a very nice, well-explained video about a specific set of differential equations, using tools of linear algebra. Particularly about the manipulation of the algebra, I really love that I don't have to pause to be able to follow all the way through!

    Thank you! I finished all three videos. The last one I had to rewind in a couple of places since there are quite a bit of calculations. These are by far the best series on Lagrangian Mechanics I can find on the internet. I understand this may be just a hobby project but the production is just unbelievable. Can't imagine how many hours you have put in creating these videos...

    What a deeper explanation in all 3 video on Classical Mechanics!
    Thank you sir to make Lagrangian approach a part of my understanding the Nature.
    Regards!

    What a nice video. It's a must for everyone studying physics. I wish I could have seen something like this, when I was studying it.

    I saw something like this while reading R.D Greggory's Classical mechanics and was completely lost , makes much more sense now 🙂

    How did you set your background like that under manim? I know we can change colors in our macros, but right now the only way I know how to change the background itself is if I input an image and scale it to fit, then write over that image. Which doesn't really change the background lol

    • @physicsfluency5541
      @physicsfluency5541  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm actually not using Manim, but rather MATLAB (where I've written my own routines for writing/moving equations and such). What I'm doing is pretty much what you're describing though; I'm loading the blackboard image into a figure window and then I write everything else on top of that image.

      @@physicsfluency5541 Wow, I was not expecting MATLAB. That's awesome. Is there any particular reason you went with MATLAB instead of manim?

    • @physicsfluency5541
      @physicsfluency5541  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@diyakomoradi8473 I used MATLAB a lot as a student and am very familiar with the environment, so it sorta just felt more natural at first. Then I just kept adding more and more stuff. I have considered learning Manim though since it would most likely be easier in the long run to use something which is updated and maintained by more people than myself. =)
