Recorded at the famous Django Reinhardt Festival at Birdland (2004). Produced by Pat Philips & Ettore Stratta
This bass solo man. Everybody here is incredible.
yeah well the drummer and the bass player are American and the other guys are European and I've always known that it's easy to tell the difference between European and American musicians for some reason
These musicians are superb. Better for your heart as medicins.
Django lives!
Excusez moi, mon anglais est très mauvais, je suis un familier de Chet Baker, mais ma mère m'a initié à Django, et là c'est magnifique.
I feel so alive when I listen to this...
mostruosi.
Winard Harper's drum solo is truly amazing, not that the other solos aren't as well :)
Damn , on fire
Wow! What a music!!! I can´t sit still!! Peter Beets what a pianoplayer!!!
de la vrai zique.Jazz POTES du Morbihan!
WAW!!!!!! What a performance!!!! breathtaking!!! All of you!!!
Wow! What more can I say?
This is magnificent!
sempre più affascinato dalla tecnica e creatività pianistica di Peter Beets e dalla facilità interpretativa in ogni contesto, sia classic jazz che gipsy jazz. Senza nulla togliere alla bravura di tutti i musicisti del complesso
Never ending amazement at the variations that can be had ad libbed by creativity though sometimes the physical performance outweighs the music.
dorado Schmit = a Django!!! el pianista = michael Shumacher !!!
Ca déchire sa mère ! Incroyable d'énergie, d'inventivité : la CLASSE
I now have a new favorite take on this classic! Stupendous, each and all!
Music I love, all you need is Sharon Davis dancing to it.
On second thoughts, at that tempo you'd have poor Sharon doing flip flops. Dorado Schmitt, now that's playing guitar & Reinhardt can rest easy in his grave knowing his playing style lives on in worthy hands.
nothing to say just big BRAVO!!!
Fantástico!!!!!!!
Ohhhhh YES !
A la fin ....je suis ivre , grisée par ces musiciens qui avec simplicité et tant de talent interprètent en osmose cette musique éternelle ....WAHOU ....
Merci les jazzs manouche
Wow
I can't stand how Peter Beets does not let Dorado Smith play. Self absorbed
GROTE KLASSE !!!
Du vrai Django, très bon.
Pierre
GE-WEL-DIG ! artiesten van de bovenste plank, Top Jazz !
Djam !!
Супер!!! Класс!!!
He looks, dresses, behaves and plays like Django.
!!!
Dorado looks upset with himself at two different points. Once at 4:00, and then again around 7:35. Hey, that’s jazz. All in all, every solo here sizzles.
Looks like he broke a string at 7:35
I'll look again for the broken string because I just thought he couldn't play at that Temple
Caravan, by Duke Ellington.
Dat drum solo O_o
who`s song is this ?
creepy how much he looks like django
I thought it WAS Django lol! I was discovered as I didn't know when this was recorded.
Please who is that guitarist? Who is that Bassist?
Bassist is Brian Torrif.
Is that an Emmet Ray ?
I yes he is the second greatest guitar player in the world
...again, Peplowski isn't on Clarinet. 😶
Dorado is struggling for volume, and cannot produce the sound he needs to get on top.
Sweet turbo talent... If they don't show ANY woke rainbows -- I'm in the audience. NY, today? Not a chance.
arresten al batero
por indesencia
Wow
