Hahaha, when the Internet does get here, I will have found an alternative solution I think but Internet aside, I am pleased with the result and am planning to put up some solar streetlights type of thing to light up our otherwise pitch dark lane up to the farm 👍
Hi Dave, the dogs seem to enjoy the baths. Is that a daily routine? Yes the internet issue is a pain. When I got my condo in Bangkok in 2015, I tried to get a wired (broadband) internet connection and was told they couldn't supply because the max limit for that building had been reached! This was in Bangkok! I had to wait until someone in the building terminated their internet access, and of course, the company wouldn't inform me or keep my updated. I just had to try my luck and ask them, in person at their counters/shops, every few weeks. My condo unit is on level 26, so it was too high to get a mobile signal at that time. But things have improved since they installed mobile antennae towers on the roof of my building, so the mobile connection is very speedy (I'm only 2 floors below the mobile tower). Thailand is a work in progress, but otherwise an amazing and relaxing place to live.
Yes, there are always frustrations here but generally that is all they are. I do have a mobile connection so we're not without Internet, it's just not as good as I would like it to be. It's just frustrating because if we had the new poles 2 years back, then we would have had the fast Internet installed. They would do it then but not now! No, bathtime with flea and tick shampoo for the pups is not more than once a fortnight or so, but they do get regularly hosed off to cool down 👍🙏
It's more stressful than I would like it to be but that is mostly down to the fact that I co-own a business in Sweden that I still need to work with. That said I have really cut back workwise and my business partner runs the company on a day to day basis now. Life here is actually pretty easy going nowadays. It used to be really stressful when I lived full time in Sweden and worked every hour of the day and night 😅
@reignBloke Excellent.... just take half an aspirin every 3 days and you'll be good! I bring over 100 every 2 years! The heat here already thins your blood
I take amongst other things, a low dose aspirin every day. It is one of 5 medicines I will have to take for the rest of my days. I'm not sure how long you've followed the channel but I had a major stroke in 2018, so these medications are the result of that. To be honest, I was very lucky. I had a couple of warning incidents prior and the day it happened, I had just arrived home following a 16 hour and 1,000 km behind the wheel work day. I sat down to eat with Jaew and boom! Luckily I knew something big was happening this time and I told her to call an ambulance immediately. I am not sure how long it was before I was in the hospital but probably less than an hour. I received a thrombolysis and I regained the use of my left arm and leg within an hour or so. The next evening, whilst eating my dinner in the intensive care unit, I had another stroke. Again, I lost the use of my left arm and leg. I was rushed down to somewhere and again had a thrombolysis. I regained the use of my left side within an hour or two. After that I remained in hospital for 10 days and eventually was released. I was off sick for a year but spent most of that time here in Thailand. I still have a lot of leftovers from it all but I am much better now than I was. It is up and down though. That is why I took a step back and let my partner take care of business now. As long as I have my income and my annual profit dividend, then I'm happy. If I could cash out I would but I need to carry on for a few years yet. Like I said though, life is a lot less stressful now and I find being here to be really helpful. I find it much more stressful when we go back to Sweden from June to October each year to be honest. Life is easy going here. In Sweden there is so much pressure to conform and so many rules and regs. I am used to it after 25 years there but I still would prefer just to be here in Thailand but life is all about compromise, so it is how it is. Anyway that was a long answer but yes I do take aspirin 😅
@@ThatForeignBloke Probably the most honest and comprehensive reply I've ever seen on TH-cam.... Thank you Sir. I live in Nakhon Nayok, if ever you pass and fancy a coffee. (or Tea... or Beer)

Wow wow your city is raining. I live in Roi Et and it hasn't rained here for several months.
It rained on Sunday 18th Feb for about 20 minutes. Otherwise it is very hot and dry now 🥵
Have you tried true maybe they can help. Looking forward to the Bangkok vids 🍻
I may give them a shout to see what's possible but they don't seem to have much out this way. Yes hopefully will have something to show from Bangkok 👍
Haha, these dogs 😂
