I totally agree!! Lucas is 88 now and a great horseman, and I’d love to see him win one more Derby! And Keith Asmussen is a hot jockey who’s aggressive, hungry, knows how to rate a horse, and is never intimidated by other riders! 🙌🏼
I'll wait to til workouts are done before I pick a "long shot" that I think has a chance. I'll go with the "crappy odds" horse that turns in a bullet work. lol. As of now, ya know....well, Just Steel has the sire, his speed figures are headed in the right direction, he's got the experience. As of now, I'd say he's absolutely a worthy long shot. I've seen him on a lot of long shot lists....so....well...all its gonna take is some big wig to pick Just Steel, and he'll become the "wise-guy horse" and his odds will be cut in half.

I'm gonna use him with a couple others and possibly a small across the board type investment.... crazy race.. luck plays into it... were getting closer with each passing day.

I had the favorite that was who I liked. Mystik Dan perfect trip Sierra Leone best three year old in training. Forever young ran a really good race. Catching freedom finished up well to.
